During Slingshot-artist Haley Heynderickx's soundcheck at Kings County Distillery, our Night Owl became so moved that he flew away. He left only a golden feather in his stead. She sang the wayward owl a fitting goodbye with her beautiful song, "No Face."

I adore the "Hi Mom" at the beginning. I listened to this beautifully haunting melody several times. I added it to my favorites. Thank you, NPR.
