I started playing this game back in 1998. I got to the point of editing Skins and writing scripts. I wrote a few tau cannon jumping scripts. Long tau jumpers, back long jumps, ling jump with weapon switch. Hit me up if wants them.

@Leonsks tau cannon has a huge recoil that pushes him backwards but you could aim wherever you wish to jump to desired place pretty much like rocket jump only without splash damage
@TheFearco don't get fooled by the slowmotion and effects. Everyone in adrenaline gamer steam knows how to do that kind of stuff. His jumps are not even perfect as he loses speed doing bhop etc. trust me ^^
To play deathmatch, first i need to download half life 1, and only then install deathmatch? To play adrenaline gamer, i need to have installed half life deathmatch?
It was a mix of AG and Half Life Elite. HLE was a full from scratch re-make of AG made by a couple guys in the community that built it off the op4 client. It was in every way superior to AG and we used it for most of our jumps. I'm mastercow from that time. Abu lived a town over from me and we recorded all this stuff and he made the video. It was some very awesome years back then. Very fond of all this. Wampa and nArchy were very good friends too and I still chat with all of them to this day 20 some odd years later :)
@@DarthVader-es8iv one thing is certain: when I wrote this comment, your video and Half-life as a whole was not as antique as my comment now was when you replied to it. wtf^^ Nice video nonetheless and I am glad to hear that you've had a good time and still have :) I've also had a good time with Half-life. Was playing a lot of competitive AG and built some maps etc. Were there gameplay differences between HLE and AG? Otherwise it sounds like it should have replaced AG, as AG has some well known problems with hit registry
I don't see whats so special about this. Everyone who plays a bit of HL/AG can do gauss these jumps... It's just using the gauss and jump from one spot to another :S
Some people just use mouse wheel jump instead of alias, you can bind jump to mouse wheel in almost any game. You're probably just mad because you can't do it.
+Zeeg Fajutaum , They left the source code open for the player to edit the game and that is why Half Life had so many different mods. they were user created. I used scripts in game and so did most players. A lot of people used bind for communicating "good game" by pressing one key, that is the same thing as the scripts i use. Binding multiple commands to be done with one press of a key. Long Jump Quick Bow Gauss Jump and a lot more. Cheating would be using auto aiming or other 3rd party software. The server has to be enabled for any god mod cheats and they never were.
