I know that for the general public, Half-Life has died, I still can't help imagening this: E3 20XX: Valve somehow makes a deal with all the other big Developers to have one *big* Press conference on day 3, And then, when the show is about to end, they pull of a "second Zelda-Twilight-Princess"-Moment where it is announced that there will be one last game. The stage goes black, after that you hear a soundtrack with a static kind of noise that get's louder and louder as you see scenes of dead forests, empty seas, an old weather station - that sort of thing. In the last moments before the static reaches it's climax, you hear an old, familiar voice, it's the voice of the G-Man: "Doctor Freeeeemaan" *Valve* The screen shows as the soundtrack drops to the old familiar startup tune -The Crowd goes absolutely wild as they show the main part of the trailer filled with gameplay and exciting new locations
Setting: E3, 20XX, Day 3, Valve presentation. It seems small, the team including Gabe Newell and Mark Laidlaw are sitting at a table. They begin to talk about the use of steam, as well as their entrance into VR. Gabe: "We are going to push Steam VR as much as-" He is cut off, as the power went out. Green strobe lights begin, and a familiar Klaxon. The room goes dark again. *Hazardous Environments plays* Then on the screen, a glowing Lambda symbol is seen. The lambda becomes the Half-Life 3 logo. *Room glows orange, crowd goes wild* G-Man: Dr. Freeman... *Gameplay is shown, audience claps.* Scientist: "Excuse me, Doctor, we found this in the rubble of the building." *The scientist holds up a portal gun, Crowd begins crying tears of joy, and screaming* The logo appears one more time, as the Aperture logo appears around the Lambda.
0:00 fade from black to ice shelf Camera cuts to ground with sound of helicopter fading in 0:14 cut to ice cliff as the music builds up in anticipation 0:25 a crowbar jabs into the ice as Gordon freeman pulls himself up to the top of the ice cliff 0:37 the camera focuses on the lambada symbol on Gordons H.E.V. Suit and fades into The half life 3 logo 0:48 the camera then cuts to gameplay, the borealis, a helicopter and, finally 2:27 a release date
God dam How do people not know about this great artist. How sad many ears will never hear the works and Vandoorea's blessings to our ears. Never. Stop. What. You. Do. I'm not sure what Id with out your music.
I've been looking for a remix *specifically* like this one. Not overwrought - but bringing out how Black Mesa should actually have felt like if it was cast in high-fidelity. Dark, covert, threatening, encompassing.
Ironic, we talked about how they jinxed it by making the comment and how someone dropped a dislike. But now...dislikes are gone. I suppose there were 0 dislikes after all.
I was used to the "open your eyes" intro where the guy is just a picture on CS 1.6. It has been a very long time since I played a valve game then I found out about tf2 and when I saw the guy turning it was the biggest jump scare i had
one thousand dollars ms Vance... One thousand dollars and a ten year wait. All for a retcon? This is what I would humbly descibe as an Epic gamermoment
I just pictured myself equiping the following: The pistol The Revolver The rifle The shotgun The Experimental Tau cannon The crossbow The RPG Those weird bug thingies The grenades The Hive launcher(the alien gun that has a rather... disturbing first equip animation And the gravity gun All that as i walk out, the music ends. This remix is made for me, for all of us.
E3 20XX Location: Somewhere A major presentation shows, possibly about Microsoft, Sony, Bethesda, Treyarch, Epic, etc. Gabe Newell walks out mid presentation.. Nods his head to the producers, they leave... He then snaps his fingers... A black suitcase is given to him... He opens it and takes out a peice of paper and quickly hides a long object behind his back... He talks about things with Steam and VALVe soon projects about a new Source engine and VR mechanics and such. He then goes back to the subject about the note... He pulls out the object behind his back... It was a crowbar... And the note it reads [[[[[[[[[[[[[[[ [[[ [[[[[[[[[[[[[[[ [[[ [[[[[[[[[[[[[[[ Before the audience can go batshit, he then says, "As with the recent schooling, we not only now how to count to three 3, we can multiply it by 4." He then whistle with 4 people walking on stage all holding a different object... Right to left A Chainsaw, A model minigun, a model portal gun, with Gabe in between it all... The jumbotron screen then turns the giant E from the E3 dark and turned the 3 orange. The 3 then turned to 4 threes One three with a Lambda. A hand with three fingers up with a thumb missing. A three inside a crosshairs. And a three inside a oval next to the Aperture logo... *Hazardous Environments plays* Everybody cries and dies and scream with glee. He then says... "Open your words." A person on the screen is shown shirtless with a VALVe on his mouth.
Dude this remix is so cool :D Always when i’m doing homework or something i’m always listening to this remix, this is a fucking masterpiece :D Why you don’t have way more views? You deserve it man :D Please create new remixes like that one :D
this sounds like what it would be like if half-life 3 opened at the combine's most powerful military stronghold, before either gordon, shepherd, alyx, or possibly all three bring it to hell
Everybody gangsta till theres no mad with a valve imbedded in his head, and its just the normal dude. No valve. Just the same dude you usually see, except without a valve in his head, and he enjoys his life.
holy I just thought of something imagine in half life 3 this song starts playing then we see some type of plot twist with gman then the beat drops and he turns his head very slightly that would be cool ngl
Bro I’m late as hell, I can picture this as the beginning for a half life movie and then the valve logo flash across the screen when that classic note hits, after it’s a montage of freeman trying to get ready as fast as he can just to be late, as always
I know that it's been over half a year since Smash Ultimate concluded, but hear me out. It's a new nintendo direct. Nintendo has been keeping silent on the next fighter. People suspect it's going to be underwhelming. Even if most people were excited by the sight of a new Smash reveal, they still feel a sense of dread. It shows Snake facing off against Ridley, when suddenly, a green light envelops the screen. A portal is opened, revealing two vortigaunts. Any half life fan would be freaking out by this point, but some would be confused. Then, GORDON FUCKING FREEMAN WALKS OUT OF THE PORTAL WITH THIS REMIX OF HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTS PLAYING. The entirety of fucking google would probably buckle under the pressure with the amount of hype.
Yo this is sick so many half life channels but everyone doesn't have a lot of subs but why? There are billions of half life fans out there give him some support he deserves more
Fun Fact I was 2 when I first discovered HL2 in 2004 according to my cousin, I didn't play it till I was around 7-8 but I still play this legendary game at 21 years old!
>half life alyx dlc announcement >the words “J K” come on screen >this theme plays >portal footage as well as tf2 and hl2 footage starts playing >the title “Half-Life 3:λ connectiλn betλeen uniλirses” >”E N D T R A N S M I S S I O N” appears >W I N T E R 2 0 2 4
0:00 fades from black to showing clips from the L4D2 intro, cuts to Meet The Soldier TF2 Trailer, then cuts to a figure looking away from the camera, figure turns around and reveals it's Gordon Freeman. 0:23 the screen flashes and turns into an old style photo, it fades white and zooms out showing Valve's logo. 0:33 fades to black 0:36 Directed By (who ever made the movie 💀) 0:44 fades to black 0:48 Freeman (letter a is replaced with the funny symbol that on Gordons chest) Movie starts 👍
That's one hell of a nice remix. A bunch of fans are making Epistle 3 themselves, look up Project Borealis. Half-Life is NOT dead, and i'll be waiting. I will come back to this when it comes out. See you in a decade(or more).
Something tells me that neither G-Man, or his employers will ever be fully explained. It’ll likely remain a point in Half-Life 3’s plot that will be left to our imaginations...
