Brilliant catch JT. The good lord blessed you on this one. The length of that beauty is mind boggling to your UK viewers, and street running too. Love your work sir.
I like the hidden nuance of the dogs barking and the guy in a safety vest walking home with a six pack of evening relaxation, not to mention the phone guy sleeping in his van waiting for his end of shift!.
For 30 years I lived on the BNSF Raceway, and now I live on the Chicago Central & Pacific (CN Freeport Subdivision) where there's two scheduled trains a day. I am living vicariously through you, Mr. Jaw Tooth! May the Lord bless you and help you pay for all that dirt
Briilant as always. That train on the road must scare the mother and father of jesus out of pepole that aren't used to it! Very long train too, at the risk of giving you an update from the department of the freaking obvious!
WOW! I FINALLY get to see a very LONG train going down the middle of the street! And I just happen to be eating Brach's candy corn, Which is the same color as the engine when I clicked the notification. Haha! No joke! You found a GOOD one there! That train WAS the several hours of waiting for ANOTHER one by the looks of it. Left no more room for another! That was it! Haha!! I Bet Pennsylvania is Pretty up there! Thanx for sharing!
Hi Brian! Great catch! 2000’ ft. of street running and a 7,500 ft. long coal train. Nice work! 👍😃 Street running is by far the most interesting part of railroading in my opinion. BIG THUMBS WAY UP!!!!
Oh my, I forgot that when they do trains in the states, my do they do them on a grand scale! Trucks literally as big as houses! Nice street-running vid!
The next time you visit the Pennsylvania Mon Valley area, you should check out the West Brownsville NS street running. Coal trains run down the main street of the town with houses on both sides, and a nice Russian Orthodox church on one side. Love your videos.
Brian what was as kewl as the train was the US Mail truck chasing the last car to get to the dropoff or pick up LOL. Nice small town but 272 miles????? Wowsers.
Go upriver to Brownsville. Cross the river on old route 40 into West Brownsville. Turn right as you leave the bridge, and you’ll see more street running on the old Pennsylvania. Now Norfolk Southern.
It would be hilarious to see something like this on house hunters. Just as they enter the house or are in the house a train comes by. The agent explains “trains come down the street a few times a day
Just subbed! I’m glad you got my railroad! I see these trains in Bradford Pennsylvania. The guys know me, so if I were their… This railroad is sending all these sd40’s down the toilet.
Thanks for the sub! I am planning on filming in Pennsylvania soon on my way to Dunkirk, Ny. There are a lot of places in Pa. that have awesome trains. I have been all over the state and one time my car broke down in eastern Pa. and I had to leave it. Lol, it is still there somewhere
The BP drops off these empty sets, consist included, to CSX in New Castle, PA. CSX operates them to and from the loading locations and then back to New Castle for interchange.
Ha! I was in Altoona and on the way home stopped at the Buffalo and Pittsburgh yard in Buttler, PA yesterday. So close yet so far from you! Love from Akron, Ohio. Keep it up Jawtooth!
That is on the CSX Mon Subdivision. You were filming on S. 1st Ave. and Plum Street. The FRA data on the crossing is Plum Street (584771R), Market Street (584770J) is to your northeast, and on Strawberry Street (584772X) is to your southwest. That particular subdivision will connect to the Pittsburgh Subdivision west of the Youghiogheny and the Monongahela Rivers in Mckeesport Pennsylvania
Thanks for this video. I enjoy the street runners especially when I can see some of the buildings next to the rails. How did all these cars escape grafetti. I have never seen so many clean caars. Don;t send them to LA, they have a class at the high schools to teach grafetti. They can cover enything in less than an hour.
