What a fun show to watch. I used to remember watching The Incredible Hulk on CBS. I just love Lou Ferrigno as the hulk, no one else can do the Hulk like Lou does. What a physique he has and even today he's still built.
Shame on the man in the apartment building who refused to help David while he got attacked by 2 bad guys over a misundertanding. He should be glad that The Hulk didn‘t wreck the whole building for that.
Put yourself in his situation. What would you be thinking if someone you didn't know started hammering on your door and yelling? Perhaps you'd realize it was somebody in trouble, but at what risk might you be putting yourself by trying to help? To be fair, the man in this case didn't exactly look like the type of person who is built to handle himself well if things got violent, but even so, I'd think twice about opening the door in circumstances like these.
2:03 the guy left was first seen in the episode 'final round' as the drug dealer's assistent, also than he was in connection with boksing, now he is again with the mafia, and also during wrestling, did you noticed that?
Even though the pilot episode transformation with car is classic. 40 years on some of writing is very contrived. The show was very much of it's time. You look at it and go dont piss David banner off.
Very convenient that the bad guys would beat Banner up, then always lose direct sight of him for those crucial seconds that would allow them to witness the transformation.
I think the hulk was brillant including this one he gets angry then changes throwing things around and then the small man and woman comes out down the stairs he turns round and he is carm he looks at them wondering what they are the look on his face brilliant.
if David never turned in to the hulk he would have died a million times over, so why is he trying to find a way to stop himself turning in to the hulk.If he finds a cure and next time his in trouble, his fucked..
Why the hell can't David ever defend himself in even a small way? It's almost as if he can't even make a fist. It was always funny to watch David get his ass handed to him week after week though.
Annoying as it was...David purposely restrained himself to the best of his ability....so that should he turn into the Hulk he is least likely to seriously hurt the ones who attacked David.
Your grandmother could kick Davids ass when he isn't the hulk. But in the episode Sanctuary, right before the first hulk out, David threw a pretty good punch.
I will admit though....in the "Pattern" episode....an old loan shark (near the end of the episode) who Del Frye could beat in his dreams got the better of David. I admit despite Banners reasons of exhibiting self control....he took it to the extremes at times. The old dude should've gotten his clock cleaned easily.
Patterns is one of the episodes where you wonder why people around David don't make the connection when he practically hulks out right in front of them. Same as this one.
