My father took me to my first reggae concert 30 years ago to see half pint and yellow man. I remember yellow man fell off the stage. When half pint came on the stage and sang greetings thats when i fell in live with reggae music at 10 years of age. Im now almost 40 and the love is still strong. Luv u half pint
Wow what a coincidence..me reading this in Feb 2024.. And these two you've mentioned(Half Pint and YellowMan) will be performing right here(Dallas Reggae Festival) in April 2024
met him in person back in 2003 when I used to hang out with Dr Marshall at anchors recording studio. very humble and respectable man. he always encouraged me to go for my dreams and be successful in whatever I do. Big up Uncle Half pint.
you know what sad? the fact that half pint losing his voice AND STILL sound way better than the new clowns who run dancehall now, plus him have way more vybz dan dem!!! big up yuhself icon!
badboyintl1 you know why he's losing voice? he has been singing wrong his whole life..you know, like too loud. and his voice is naturally low too. but he's still great, most definitely!!!
I was 6 years when these tunes come out and it bring tears to my eyes fi hear dem a mash up rebel salute suh...memories of the good ole times growing in Jamaica
These veteran artistes can go on stage and give a solid, enjoyable performance while their younger counterparts have to have a whole crew and still flop......big up Half Pint
TODAY'S ARTISTS PAY ATTENTION!! PUT INGREGRITY INTO YOUR MUSIC AND IT WILL NEVER EXPIRE AND WILL LAST IN THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF PEOPLE FOR EVER ! BIG SALUTE HALF PINT
I've been to at least a couple of hundred reggae concerts in my life, never before i saw this reaction from the crowd.. like this time when Winsome starts.. Wow !! Half Pint true reggae dancehall veteran
Wow, amazing performance!!! The crowd really knows good reggae music when the legendary performers come out. Wish I was there to experience this. Half Pint mash up rebel salute!

All Half Pint songs are all hits oh man,,,,best performance ever at Rebel Salute all hits you can relate and sing to... Real good music.. when you sing good music you dont have to beg the crowd for forward and asking crowd to do this and that... people will feel vibes of your music and what you are saying and cant control them self but begging for more...
Singers like him make songs that last and stand the test of time. Artist now make tunes that last only a season. Big up to the Veterans who paved the way. #Respect 👊
It is unlikely that such a stellar performance was anticipated when he was scheduled for a morning appearance. He should have been a featured singer for an evening session. What an amazing catalog of hits!!
I was cutting some dubplates from Half Pint last year. Before I know it we were in a conversation about the history of Jamaica and it's music history. Conversation was so conscious. I wish I had recorded it. The Artist is just filled with knowledge. Strength and Honor. "Due to Political Friction"
@@leroyfoster6487 Not true that never in the history of Rebel Salute. Beres Hammond did that more than once. Sanchez did it also and likewise Leroy Gibbons
A dem man ya know fi perform an mash up show. 100% respect Half Pint, I enjoyed every minute of your performance. You along with Beres Hammond took the show. Nuff respect to the maxxxxxxxxxx.
I just don't know who are those ppl who clicked the dislike button. Those are timeless classic FEEL GOOD MUSIC 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃...they reminds me of my childhood growing up in a CRIME-FREE Jamaica
Half Pint, Frankie Paul, Sugar Minott, Freddie McGregor, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Johnny Osbourne, Junior Reid, Beres Hammond, Michael Rose and over in England..Vivian Jones and Peter Hunnigale. Voices and messages that will stand the test of time.
Big Big Haft Point you know it from long time still going strong, to the world. I am happy for you the best performance by a mile 2016 you bring it back to life Half Point. I always say these artists who buss out from middle 2000 don't sing with melodies now a days no dynamics in their vocal. Apart from Jah Cure, Chronixx, Romain Virgo, Christopher Martin these are the only four artist who knows how to sing in the now a days artists in Jamaica. It ended from Wayne Wonder, Singing Melody, Tony Curtis, Pinchers from them time artists stop write and none a them know how to add bridge in a them song and the lyrics is about who a fight against them and noise with ten men on stage with them. Thanks Haft Point this how to do it.
Not a single word about sex........just straight reggae roots music. I always loved this guy and though his voice is going, I would pay more to see him than the clowns who have the stage today.
what a performance now this is music foundation. The music change now they've taken the music out of the music.Big up all foundation artist nuff respect
Must say great performance ! It's been awhile I don't see a artist better yet, can't recall a artist a sing and every song get a forward super super performance !! Great pint mire like big gill !!
