Shoji is a kitsune (hence his poofy tail) with his own show that Sarah, the little girl, watches. Same thing with Z - short for Zoidotron - he has his own show that Sarah also watches. They're both style parodies, much like Itchy and Scratchy in "The Simpsons" or Terence and Philip in "South Park".
