What are you doing to Heather Gary ? I`m watching the telly and she shouts up come and hear this ! I thought it`s her Billy Fury but it`s in fact the Lancashire Fury ( should name an engine that ) is sending her Halfway To Paradise ! Yes Billy lives and what a performance .I think Billy is your forte .This and last one have been just your songs and they suit you . It`s every bit as good as last . Ever since you got a bit of stick for Everlys you have went away ,upped your game and came back like a true pro . It`s all credit to yourself you have done this . Many would go in a big huff but you`ve risen to the challenge , dusted yourself down and said I`ll show `em ! Now you are the master of Fury giving us Billy lives again ! Heather is throwing all to the wind . Blimey that woman is now uncontrollable and well little ole me might be the recipient of your good work !! lol Fantastic job Gary and it`s 10 / 10 from me and 12/ 10 from Heather ! I thought I had lost it in truth !!.. I'm sure me and you got chatting about Mr Fury ?.. anyway's It sparked something off and back to the recording room.. and this one and the previous one were recorded .. and there are three more too !!.. a month of work in all of these my friend and I hope I got some of the original sound feeling in them !!.. Yes Bit of kidmaleeri re Heather but not your performance . Everlys was best thing you did in hindsight . It seemed to give you that bit you needed to take stock and do what suited you as prescribed . Unless you are Elvis who could sing anything you have to know what suits you and Billy and music like this certainly do .Heather requests A Thousand Stars ,it`s her favourite . Go get `em Billy !!
Good morning Mr Gary Fury, this is a great version and one of your very best vocals my friend, and yes it does sound a bit like Billy!! So can't be bad!, There's been a number of instrumental versions of this on you tube ( even I've done one) but it's always better to hear a vocal version especially when it's as good as this.
