@@BOUTDOORSALASKA Thank you for responding to my comment. I appreciate the offer to send me fish, but it would be a waste of excellent food to try to ship any food product here. I live in the desert, next to the Mexican border. The shippers don't always deliver perishable items like they are supposed to. My son sent me some Maple cured ham and blocks of cheese from the Northeast. Even though the items were packed with cold packs, the meat was HOT and the cheese oozed between my fingers when I picked up the package of cheese. They had let the "PERISHABLE" package sit in their dock over the weekend in our desert heat. Whenever I sell my home, I plan on holding out some money so I can fly back to Alaska and join you all on the beach for some fishing. I have a long ways to go to get my home ready to sell. My youngest son wants me to live with him, so I have a lot of downsizing to do. Until then, I will keep watching your videos and cheering you all on as you fill your freezer, make wonderful memories of great family times together, and share all your knowledge and experiences. You all are so WONDERFUL!

There are some worms but not like the Homer pollock

@@BOUTDOORSALASKA So off Ninilchik you get cod and off Homer spit they get pollock?? Is Mike and mark Chihuly's Charters still there?

When we fished off the spit we only caught Polock and flounder as well as a bunch of star fish. This year we caught lots of Pacific Cod from Ninilchik beach last year It wasn’t normal but lots of them now

Yes as a matter of fact lots of big Halibut are caught from kayaks vertical fishing and lots us kayaks to drop baits.
