Kaba was a piece of filth. His car was involved in a gangland shooting the night before. A price has also been put on the cops head, no wonder he is in hiding.
@@PythonesqueSpam he was the one just on trial, the dead criminal was about to reverse over the police at the rear of the car to try escape so the police officer fired to stop him
@@David-The-YorkshireMan Watch the video again. The Audi forward and reverse movement was contained by the "hard stop" police used according to their own testimony. The only danger was a big taxpayer bill for body panel repair on a few police cars. The issue was armed police meeting "The Law of the Instrument".
@skruffs... I fully agree, it's despicable. This whole country needs to get it's act together, and stop these terrorist groups doing what they want, when they want. Now they think we will put up with BLM parading, rioting and dominating our city centres, in support of a gangster??? wtf has this country come to?? This is the UK not the US.... Armed police should down arms, i would support that. It's like the military, they are scared to do their jobs. That split second of doubt can and will cost them their lives. That is not right in anyone's eyes. If i shouted and swore in the street i would be arrested and possibly spend time in prison. Especially if i state i am white British. However, if i state i am muslim, it wouldn't make it to court. Is our government trying to force us to change religion??. I would like to be a fly on the wall to hear and see what backhanders Labour are getting from mosques hmmm!!!!
Don't feel sorry for them. They're the enforcement arm of the government Look at what they did during covid, and recently with their one sided policing
I can’t accept that Aaron”the looking glass”Johnson has been sentenced to two years in prison for speaking naughty words. Please mention it as much as possible Charlie. It is beyond insane and I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up like Peter Lynch. It’s wrong and it shouldn’t be accepted.
Aaron is doing well he's lost weight(due to not drinking)&is in good spirits pls don't say such a thing regarding to taking his own life. He will hopefully be out by May if government early release action is in place or by Sept at the latest
It is very warming to see the Peter Lynch tributes here, to know it struck a chord with so many is uplifting. Our name is Legion, for we are many. Fight evil with its own words.
There's hope in Halifax. I'm local to the area and just recently was contracted to install a new ceiling in what was the Atik night club. It's now about to be a church. So happy to be a part of such a transformation.
Chris Kaba was just a, gun totting, irresponsible career criminal. Who would have stood trial for attempted murder if he hadn’t been capped by Sgt Blake. You live by the sword you die by the sword
The only issue I have with the whole Kaba thing, is that the jury weren’t told about his criminal past. The police officer who shot him had his whole career and freedom on the line and those facts were kept from the jury. I feel they should have been informed and have the same knowledge the firing officer had when he chose to shoot him. Luckily he was found not guilty anyway
I agree wholeheartedly with the verdict and it shouldn't have some to court. The guy was doing his job. However, I can see why the evidence of Kaba's past never made it to the trial. None of the police involved in the incident where he was smoked even knew who they were dealing with. It had no relevance in the trial.
@@spotcatsteve3752 you’re telling me he attended a car chase with guns drawn and didn’t have any info over the radios about the suspect they were chasing , why he was being chased, the marker on the car for weapons or why they were stopping him in the first place ?
@@mightymike2192 have the recordings of the radio talk been released ? Surely there was word on the radio that the vehicle they were chasing had a marker, or the person was well known to them etc. that was a lot of armed police for a random chase. In one way I’m glad the info was withheld because they can’t use it as an excuse for a retrial. You’re probably right, but I just have a feeling that it’s a bit unfair to withhold such important info. I realise My unfair feeling might be completely irrelevant in law tho.
The Kaba family only claim that this is not justice because the court did not arrive at the decision that they wanted. Now the cat is out of the bag, I wonder if they will be shouting about what a lovely man their son was and what a travesty of justice has been done to him?
Interesting how these peace loving african families, as nice as the parents may be (going to church or whatever), why do they allow their children to join gangs, ride around with hoods up and terrorise neighbourhoods - THEY are responsible. Yes the parents are fully responsible. Its also incredible how they usualy dont speak to their gangster children for many years but as soon as they are dealt with by the police, suddenly they come out of the woodwork claiming their child was an angel, and a support worker, and a harmless family man who devoted his life to making the world a better place. In other words they smell a lawsuit! Disgusting.
Has anybody noticed that none of the mainstream media outlets will allow you comment anything on their reporting of this story? It’s great to know many other people think the same as me
Unarmed always does grind my gears. Dont think people understand that a large vehicle like an SUV is usually going to be more dangerous than a handgun.
Police testimony states the Audi had been boxed in by multiple police vehicles in a "hard stop". Police video shows the driver's forward and reverse movement was contained by those vehicles. The stop was justified by the car being flagged as involved in crime, but the officers didn't know the driver. So the claim police or public lives were at risk, isn't reasonable.
Halifax is actually one of the better spots for one to live in West Yorkshire these days, absolutely has its problems but all in all it has some nice areas and buildings.
OK, Charlie, That isn't the face of Jesus on the gates of the Piece Hall, it is Saint John the Baptist, he is the patron saint of Halifax and his face is on the Halifax Coat of Arms. The Halifax motto is "Except the Lord, Keep the City". I moved to Halifax from Airdrie in 1966 and I'm still here.
@@pooooornopigeon No, here means without or unless. HALIFAX. Motto: nisi Dominus custodierit civitatem. (except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh in vain). Means unless not accept
Nowhere near as nice as Alsager. The lad was rightly suspected of being armed, and that is why they had to stop him, and then he started to ram a police car to get away. The officer, for once, did his job, and the lad asked for it, solely to blame, and how wicked that the establishment threw him under the bus so as to try and pacify racists of a community that we do not need over here.
Well, he had formulated some major architectural plans in his time - "oi, knock us up massive bifta, blud, triple king size..." or words to that effect I believe.
Well said about that kabe case, he was in a vehicle and was using it as a weapon, officer saved many lives that day, a crash could have happened and caused a lot more drama.
@@Philljag still a weapon plus he had been involved in 2 shootings the week before was a well known gang member. Officers took no chances, you can drown in an inch of water, die from being run over at 5mp aswel.
I grew partly up in Halifax. Quite rare being a Norwegian. Lovely place as I remember it, but this was before Trudeau started marching. You know, an idol of the starmers believing being good whilst destroying the original Halifax.
Metropolitan Police are ok. In any country in the world he would have been shot. What about the Manchester Airport situation? HERR STAMER. Whats happened there?
As a retired police sergeant I'm still trying to work out the purpose of PCSO's (powerless plastic plods). As far as I can see they are very expensive (30K ish P.A.) mobile traffic barriers. They have very limited statutory authority plus a number of additional powers can be granted at the discretion of the chief constable. Some have minor traffic officer powers and although they don't have powers of arrest Merseyside police are training them in the use of cuffs, somewhat sinister.
Great to see you and the family in Halifax again. And anywhere in general up and down the lands. I live in the apartments which I just call flats, opposite the town hall. In your last video here you recorded my neighbour having a parking ticket. Next time you may what to visit the Halifax gibbet and see the local ambience. Shibden Hall is lovely. That Burnley Road is a nightmare. I used to work on that Industrial Estate coming up on your left over the bridge as you just get into myolroyed. That queue can take up to two and a half hours just to get into town.
‘If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.’ Melcom X
Please stop mentioning that person as he does not deserve the same air time or media to take anything away from the sad news of Peter Lynch. A political prisoner, RIP Peter Lynch.
My in-law's family's tree goes back to Halifax 1300s. Sailed to Boston in 1630! That's old!!! A great grandfather was a Union drummer boy at Battle of Shiloh (who died in 1901 in Lancaster, PA).
You could have mentioned that the "Piece Hall" was where the weavers from their little workshops took their pieces, to sell. When the mills came the Luddite revolution happened. First civil attacks possibly against machinery that took the poor working classes autonomy and gave it to the mill owners. They must have made a lot of money in Halifax because you can see some of the buildings like the market are very " upmarket." I remember visiting my grandmother in her small stone built cottage, built by the mill owners. Toilet with a wooden seat in a small shed at the back. No bathroom. Two bedrooms upstairs and a coal cellar. Worked in the mills (as did my mother). When I was small I remember how dismal Halifax seemed. The buildings were all covered in black soot. Now I find the industrial revolution very interesting as do many people.
Fancy doing Halifax, you did miss the Gibbet (similar to the guillotine, )and Halifax is that rare thing, it has no river. What you witnessed was Hebble Brook, just a stream. Then you have Ann Lister of Shibden , Gentleman Jack, nudge nudge. Wainhouse tower and not forgetting King David the hanged coin clipper that Issac Newton went after. But apart from that, plenty to come back for, enjoyed the vid
@@hunchanchoc8418 The river Calder comes via Todmorden, Sowerby Bridge, Elland, Brighouse eastwards to Leeds.. Calderdale is neither in the Dales or the Calder being in Halifax. A bit of marketing spin when the metropolitan borough was being named, I suppose to make it sound less like a gritty mill town.
@@hunchanchoc8418 Yes I believe a french delegation saw the gibbet and took the idea back to France and developed it into the guillotine. My grandmother (from Halifax) declared she had seen it used to chop someones hand off.
Re the Gibbet, it was more of an axe head rather than a blade, the other thing was nobody wanted to be responsible for taking a life, so… The pin that held the cutting axe head in place was attached to a rope, this was tied to a horse, the horse walked away, so the horse did it ! To give the victim a sporting chance, if he could jump up when the pin was pulled and race to the town boundary, it was gods will and he was saved, but he couldn’t enter the Halifax area again, otherwise back to the Gibbet. A pub called the Running man still exists in the town.
Chris Kaba was a known gang leader and gunman in London. This was NOT mentioned at the trial as the 'establishment' were frightened about the possible 'Racism' involved! The truth did out and we should blame those in the know about hiding facts!
I always think that when a Council or Government body calls the public a "Customer" - they think of you as a business....but im not a Customer IAM a "Citizen"...
I’ve never been to Halifax, but it looks like a lovely place. Very nice town centre and that courtyard setting looks lovely with a beautiful building. Thanks for that video, Charlie, very enjoyable. Yet again I stand with your opinion - on what happened with the shooting. A sad loss for the family, and I’m sorry for the pain, but I expect they knew the type of lad he was. I didn’t know about the policeman having to live in secrecy. A bit like the teacher who expressed an opinion at that school. This is not what this country is a bad and other people should not have to live in fear.
It's not Jesus with a sheep on his head. It's St John the Baptist. Our minster (parish church) is dedicated to St John the Baptist. He is on our towns coat of arms. (I can't believe you came to my hometown again. Would love to meet you one day Charlie. I enjoy your videos.)
It's deeply shocking how this officer is now in hiding after his quick thinking has saved lives. It's also a sad state of affairs when we give the air space for people like Imarn Ayton to incite her toxic opinion by making things worse.
The family and associates should be in the police crosshairs. The judges gagging order was aimed only at one side. The family was free to spout their hate and lies without hindrance.
The Piece Hall looked like it had the kaaba missing from the middle of it so it was fitting that you told the story about that dead criminal kaba in there
the policeman should NEVER!! had been brought o trial, a disgrace, he should be compensated for the Distress he and his family have gone through!!!, Agrree???
That Piece place does look similar in design to the American motels in movies, but they're never in nice stone with high quality construction like that. I wish we had more high quality construction in America, but it's mostly low quality wood frame with little or no style. Nice mix up from the usual Manchester shuffle.
