I miss having the old sides in the top league. Halifax, Fev, Bradford, Eagles, Widnes, Oldham etc. Don't get me wrong, Suoer League is decent, but I miss the owd Stones Bitter Championship & The Premiership. Proper rugby, winter rugby.
Look at the kits for a starters least you knew who you wear playing! now a days it looks like stevie wonders designed them. this was the year Wigan first started messing with cherry and white hoops.
How us Wigan fans couldn’t stand that especially after only thrashing Halifax at Wembley a couple of years earlier I will never get over such mockery!!!
