Around the time this concert was done, everything those two touched was gold. The Private Eyes and H2O albums were hot. They always have good music. No matter what era.
had been years since I heard this classic now I cant get enough of it. Strange how over time we truly learn to appreciate the melodies and instrumentals ( didn't pay a lot of attention as a teenager ).
Just went to the Philly Forget Me Not tour in Grand rapids on Sunday, July 15th, 2018 and they freaking rocked the place out on this song! It was amazing....one of my all time favorite groups. I used to ride the school bus every day listening to their music. Brought back great childhood memories and it also reminded me of a few heart breaks I have had over my lifetime. They sing this song from the heart and I felt the pain in my own heart. So happy they are performing together again.
Utterly & Totally Brilliant - Now please get the Music Track from This Concert and please release them onto New C'd.....Once again both your guys really have your heart and soul into performing.... Far Superior Than The Music Studio Releases...!!!
great version of this classic - I love the pace of this rendition compared to the standard radio version and the vocals of Hall and Oates seem to have more energy back then (understandably of course.)
Cedar Shoals Agree there’s another live version of Shes Gone 1976 in RU-vid that I also love. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bnVXIUyshng.html
I love hall and oates. I wished they'd play their concerts like this instead of all the instruments. From the concert videos I seen from recent events, the music outdoes their voices. They are still good after all these years.
Tina Turner sang a song about these two. It was called ‘Simply the best’. And they are. There is simply no one to match them. This song is their greatest and one of the greatest songs of all time! Period!
