i don't think this is a particularly good story - but the damn thing sticks in my head (!) - i think it may be due to the way the story reveals itself - the simplicity of it all - as well as due to the good actors and good special effects involved

They got this idea from Stephen King, foghorn and all. They changed his sea-dog ghosts into a bacteria, but it's the same basic story. Rum.
