One of the many things we talked about off-camera was his love and joy for sailing and everyone loves a sporty Contessa.

@@SVTONICBoatWives I have the small one a 26. I have gone full circle. I had one in the seventies and moved up over the years. I bought a First 501 from Moorings charter in Saint Martin because I wanted a larger boat on a limited budget. Now I am in my seventies. I have gone back to a 26 mainly for day sailing and the odd overnight. You should do a competition to guess the price of the 69.

Since Noone is talking I will say it's 8ish depending on options . I'm kinda guessing but it's close.

@@SVTONICBoatWives Well after a lot of pouring down with rain here, the big high pressure area arriving now, is likely to bring Frosts, so up go the heating bills. So I've started stocking up the Christmas Cheer Ready, and have opened a big bottle of Baileys and with a large Whisky in it, it improves the inner warmth. Cheers. 🍻 Luckily I grabbed a nice 10.5 tog Duvet in the Black Friday Sales, so if a bit tipsy, should get a cozy night's sleep. 👍🎄🧑‍🎄⛵️❤️

@@SVTONICBoatWives Unless you lack the liver enzymes that stop Alchohol being a poison, Consuming Alchohol provides a significant Bell Curve of Health Advantage, and is so important a part of Our Diet that Beer was ne er Rationed in Britain during the Second World War, the Navy got its Rum Ration and Pink Gin, the Army got its IPA beer ration, Whisky if fighting in the Desert, and Gin and Tonic for the Quinine if fighting in the Jungles. To be at as bad a health Disadvantage you have to be an enzyme lacking Alchoholic. All Good Science Still supports this and doctors know it, which is why they drink like fish. Sadly, as a Motorcyclist I got out of the habit of drinking, and still cant drink enough. though it is important to avoid the designer drink rubbish due to Toxic additives, and in Britain, avoid drinking Stella Artois due to it having a Violence additive, which causes Husband Beating and Wife Beating. Also the quality of Distilled Spirits has been so Bad, I bought a nice Copper Still of Legal size to start distilling Spirits Fit for my late Father to Drink. I produ Ed 50% alchohol to make Liqueurs for him, plus a very high quality Calvados Apple Brandy, that wiped the floor with the rap the French make. Apart from one Irish Distillery Jameson, which puts good whiskey in its bottles again, and Bells Scoth Whisky, pretty much all distilled Spirits in Europe and Britain are now putting extremely poor quality Bulk High Temperature High Strength yeasts Fermentation which produces huge amounts of Disgusting Esters, distillers attempt to clean up the product with activated Carbon filtration, with limited success, so they resort to adding flavourings, like honey or Orange like Southern Comfort, etc and charge a bloody premium for it. A Basic guide is, if what you drink gives you a hangover, then you are drinking poor quality Rubbish, and if the headache is Really, bad it has upped the Alchohol percentage of the contents, by adding Methanol to it, which is what the Soviet Union was adding to its Vodka, and which led to the Health disaster in Eastern Europe Methanol is the stuff that makes people Blind. Sorry this is a bit long, but people need to know. A now standard Health question by Doctors and Specialists is - how much do you drink ? - I always anywhere - Nowhere near enough for Optimum Health Benefit, which is the truth- usually they just smile and move on, which reveals that they know. However one Consultant followed it up with so how much do you drink ? and maybe about a bottle of Wine a Month I replied, followed by How much would you like to drink ? I think a glass of wine a day would be a good start I replied. Now you Listen to me he said, you drink at least TWO Glasses of Wine a Day, because TWO Glasses is TEN times better for you than One Glass. He's right, but two glasses is still a far way down that Bell Curve of Health Advantage, which is so beneficial, Alchohol zshould Really be Subsidised and Not Taxed in any Country that actually cares about the Health of its people, but Quality needs to be restricted by law to the best production Standards. But like with Tobacco, they use fake Science as an excuse to Tax the Crap out of it. Hint Tobacco zsmoke is Anti viral and anti Bacterial, and does not cause Cancer - the Scientist who proved the link discovered he had got it wrong and Retracted, I heard him explain it in an Interview with him on BBC Radio 4 in the 1990's. @@tip0019 I thought you might be as you say 68 or 70ft might have been a better choice? I can't say too much yet but 360° is good but we will be doing the tour in four parts sometimes going back the way we came so 180° is going to be more appropriate.
