Look at that body and that face, after a kid, and over 40. She's a gem. I don't think she's the best actress in the world, but she's a TRUE star and a TRUE role model. I'm so happy for her success, she truly deserves it. And I'm glad she took a break after 2006 for X-men 3. Love you Halle.
Lol She takes any criticism and blunders in her stride. I mean her razzie acceptance speech just showed how down to earth she is and doesnt take herself too seriously. SHes my role model. Gorgeous, talented and overcame so much.
I was a kid and i lost my mom in the department store. she didn't cry, I did! lol. My mom was calm as ever. She was like i was here. I had cried and the employee had to call me mom over the speaker phone to find her.
@creejay Hey that's ur opinion i haven't seen the movie so i can't make 1 4 now... i wuz just correcting the time length she did the movie almost a year after her daughter wuz born & her daughter's 2 so it hasn't been sitting around 4, 3 yrs.Besides there's a few movies that sat around b/c of whatever reasons & they turned n2 blockbuster, or award winners. All i'm sayin iz unless u've seen the movie please don't knock it until u do.
Why is the "naked" thing such a big deal?? I walk around naked and clean naked all the time! We're born naked so it's only natural to be naked at home!!
@creejay Well mayb not n ur 1st post but as ur explaining urself ur kinda knockin the movie and Halle Berry's performance both of which u haven't seen yet ur making judgements about the movie & her performance based on something u've read, some1 else's opinion. But like i stated b4 ur opinion is ur opinion and u seem 2 b pretty set n ur opinion so i'll leave it at that.
@writergrlT please reread my first post - how was I knocking the film? No studio wanted the movie and it was sitting on the shelf. I just want to see a GOOD black actress (like maybe Kerry Washington) get a nomination...not Halle with an oscar-bait role.
@writergrlT it was filmed over 2 years ago....and no major studio would pick it up. Bad reviews are starting to come in too. There will be no nomination for her.
