Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry is one of the biggest movie stars in the world, and she is now turning her attention to television. Her new show "Extant" premieres on CBS this week. Berry joins the "CBS This Morning" co-hosts to talk about the show.

This is one tremendous new show. Only problem is that as well written as it is, why do they INSIST on getting the pronunciation of "EXTANT" wrong? It's properly pronounced "EK' stint" (emphasis FIRST syllable, second syllable almost as if there's no vowel in it)! There is only one pronunciation and every time I hear them mispronounce the name of the show I feel like putting my fist through the screen.

well what do you expect from the Yanks, they always talk lazy,just look how they spell words (through-thru)

166PolarBear If you're referring to Northerners or New Englanders when you write "Yanks", quite the reverse is true. It's those in the South who have lazy verbiage. No one here spells "through" as "thru". Are you cracked?

What's the big deal about her being on TV. She's an actress, she's not going to just limit herself to movies. To some of their stuff, Halle was like, What the heck are you guys talking about??

yea exactly and like she said she had done TV before like:Living Dolls in the 80's+ other stuff like Knots Landing TV films like Solomon & Sheba,Face of an Angel which she talked about and showed the clip anyway, and TV miniseries:Queen which are all well known- Just read as well Extant had been renewed for a 2nd season :-]

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent, my Colleagues, HOWEVER, it is now time to round up the video tapes and interviews on "LUCY" "LUCY" "LUCY" - WITH THAT GREAT STAR JOHANNSEN (sp) - THAT IS GOING TO BE THE BOMB! I just know it. So, go out and get them, it opens tomorrow.

Who has custody of her daughter by the Canadian model? I ask because all this bickering between the two can't be good for the child. Moreover, with strange and abusive behavior coming from a parent in acrimonious divorce situations sometimes have had dangerous physical consequences for the child. Couldn't something be done about all this? Take the money angle. Wow! With such a monthly stipend who would want to go back to work? $16,000 a month? You do the annual math!
