My mum was rooting for her to win, then the week before she won my mum died in her sleep, so everytime I hear this song I just burst into tears. My mum would of absolutely loved it as I do.

I used to play this song when I was deep in addiction and drunk wishing I could live a different life and cry my eyes out. Now I'm 6 years sober and still crying my heart out. Thank you Jesus.

I really don't believe it's ever been appreciated, but this was one of the greatest female vocal performances ever heard on British television. The show has never been my cup of tea but when it produced something as great as this, difficult to be too critical.

I never watched Xfactor until I witnessed this performance. Alexandra sang for her life, I felt it in my bones! 14yrs later I'm still here for every vibrato and trill of this song.
