The Mormon Tabernacle Choir has asked for people all over the world to join their virtual choir by recording themselves singing the "Hallelujah" Chorus. Watch the finished product at virtualchoir.mormon.org
This video has the rehearsal track (provided by the MoTab) playing along with the track with my voice. If you, for some strange reason, would like to listen to just my voice, you can watch this version instead: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qUkBdWGHl68.html

What a beautiful and smooth voice you have! Husband was having trouble really getting this bass part and you helped so much. We are ready for Easter Sunday to sing with our little choir now, and can’t thank you enough! Just lovely.

学校で Hallelujah を歌った時、この動画で練習をしてました!ピアノとではなく、あなたと一緒に歌うことで、音程がとりやすかったし、なにより誰かと歌えて楽しかったです。この歌が好きなので、また歌いに来ます!

I thought this was very helpful as it has been a while since I sung this in choir. Still struggle at about 1:20 with "is become" and this makes it much clearer when to start it.

This is so great! Thank you so much for uploading it!! I have a little trouble hearing, and even with the sheet music it's sometimes hard to isolate just one part. I didn't realize there were actually so many high notes to the bass part. Your voice sounds awesome all over the scale. Thanks again!

Umm...where was the bass? Didn't even hit baritone! CLICK BAIT!!!
@StephenKendall
@StephenKendall 4 года назад
You should take that up with Handel himself - he's the one that wrote such a high bass part 😅
@fallout8516

@@StephenKendall So do I understand right that this is the bass part of the song which is, unfortunately, written in baritones' range?
@StephenKendall
@StephenKendall 4 года назад
Yeah, in my experience baroque bass parts are usually in the modern baritone range. Which is a bit awkward - as much as I love baroque music, the bass parts are rather high in my voice 😅
@fallout8516
@fallout8516 4 года назад
@@StephenKendall Exactly, I have really hard times hitting those notes.
@cmcer1995
@cmcer1995 Год назад
I thought I would make a comment here. Obviously you have never sung the Hallelujah Chorus and/or never read the music. This Is Not "Click Bait" you only show your ignorance by your comment and lack of knowledge. Sometimes Basses complain about how we are expected to hit high notes, but we do it for the love of music
