One of the most beautiful and heavenly versions of Hallelujah that I have ever heard. I especially like that they use two of the most powerful verses (to me), the ones that talk about the Holy Word and the Lord of Song. And at 4.47.... it was like the joy of angels almost to the point of tears of joy. Absolute chills.
I've listened to Jamie and the other Angels sing so many times that I finally believe there is a life after we leave our loved ones. Thank you Josh for your wonderful rendition!
This is Leonard's and Canada's gift to the world. It will also be my gift to the people who attend my funnel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Josh, you and wonderful angels singing to the magic of your fingers on the piano!
I was in Canada the day of 9/11, the male voice choir I was a soloist for was on tour from the U.K. That night we had a concert in a small town near Toronto, that was a tough gig. If Hallelujah sung by your choir and accompanied by Josh had been on the program, that would have been me finished for the night! Thank you for your music.
@@JoshTamayo All your hard work means every time I'm discouraged I can play "all of you" to help me out of it.... happening a lot lately 😢....... Just wonderful. AMEN. 🙏 🎵🎼🎶🎵🎼🎶🎵🎼🎶
I've heard there was a secret chord That David played, and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you? It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth The minor fall, the major lift The baffled king composing hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Baby I've been here before I know this room, I've walked this floor I used to live alone before I knew you I've seen your flag on the marble arch Love is not a victory march It's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah You say I took the name in vain I don't even know the name But if I did, well really, what's it to you? There's a blaze of light in every word It doesn't matter which you heard The holy or the broken hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah [Piano Interlude] Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah I did my best, it wasn't much I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you And even though it all went wrong I'll stand before the lord of song With nothing on my tongue but hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah
That Pianist is like something from heaven on earth - I adore the song, the singing, the harmonies but I just adore the piano - such talent and class - very calming and relaxing and special - stunning - that piano- Heavenly!
My absolute favorite piece of music. Leonard Cohen is a genius and this, by far, is my favorite version. Beautifully performed. Brava ladies, and incredible piano Mr.Tamayo. Thank you all.
This has got to be the most ethereal and Heavenly sound I’ve ever heard in all my 60 years. To say this was beautiful feels inadequate, you all sounded like angels...including the piano. I so needed this... Thank you all, and God bless each one of you...❤️
@@JoshTamayo We are. That performance was absolutely perfect! I hope your family is doing okay. I am looking forward to more from this amazing choir. God love you and bless you and your family and friends and keep you safe. 🙂❤
@@JoshTamayo I would welcome an opportunity to connect with you. I host my show Sounds of Coherence on the Awake TV Network and have just been appointed Branch Director for Performance Arts. What is the best way to reach out to you?
am here again the early morning hours of Saturday the 30th of May 2020 at 12:47 am We all need a friend What a great piece done at this crazy time in our world with this virus... THANK YOU SO MUCH ..for doing this song WOW!!
Beautiful. What a paean to a lost relationship that still represents the truth that a lost love is better than no love at all. Bless you Leonard Cohen, and what a beautiful rendition by a great choir.
@@JoshTamayo And you Josh, are a pianist of great talent and tremendous passion! The power of your emotions rings clear and true in your fantastic playing. If there is anyone better, I've not heard them.
This was breathtakingly beautiful, subtle undertones yet such an effortless take on a piece that has had one too many spin offs, this is my favourite to to this date. I felt shivers by how every word sung, every chord played had so much depth and meaning and saw it for the very first time in a different perspective. It's beautiful to see so many, beating the odds to unite in the name of music♡
This is undoubtedly the most touching and beautiful rendition of this song I've heard and I've listened to many arrangements. The piano's melody is so simple but just the right melodic tone to support such wonderful voices. I will be listening to this over and over. Thank you for making my heart sing!
I watched Alice with tears in my eyes, loving hearing her voice singing this beautiful song, one which she has sung so often. We were all blessed by her voice and wamr personality. We were blessed by her!
One of the most amazing renditions of Hallelujah I have ever heard! Besides the fact that this version has two of my three favourite verses ("You say I took the name in vain...", "I did my best, it wasn't much...") the harmony of the voices would be how I imagine a choie of angels would sound. Absolutely beautiful!
