I put out my Halloween decorations out the beginning of October. The day after Halloween, I pack them up and put out my fall/Thanksgiving decor. The day after Thanksgiving, yeah, Black Friday, we do our Christmas decorating. I pack up the Christmas decorations the day after Christmas, because we really do have way too much for Christmas and by then, we have had enough and are happy to get our home back to normal. We really do love the holidays.

I really love your decor for halloween 🎃. I decorate differently, I put out fall things first a little later I add halloween 🎃 things. Early in Nov. I take down halloween 🎃 things and add the Thanksgiving things to the autumn 🍂 things. It works for me.

My problem is I see everything RU-vidrs decorate with and like it. So I then have to buy it lol. I saw your little spiders and now I want them 😁. Last year I bought a skeleton from Dollar General for $20. He is 5 ft tall. I do mix my fall with Halloween then after Halloween I take down Halloween and leave up fall and add a few turkeys. I've done it for several years. I loved your porch. Thank you for sharing!!

Everything looks great and like the wreath. Love the lights. Since this is the first year at our house, I am decorating more for Fall but adding some Halloween. Next year I plan to go all out. We live in the fork of the road and have the largest front yard, so it will be great for graveyard. Not sure yet if we have treaters. I have a small tree on my porch, so will turn it into a ghost. You gave me great ideas for my door area. Hank for skeleton.

I agree, Fall and Halloween décor are two different things. And like you said, if you are just beginning with your Halloween décor, you may be able to combine some of the fall with the Halloween. And as Kilee did here, try to do some crafts to build up your "spooky" factor.

September 1st, then I add colorful mums in pumpkin and leaves pots 🍁🌻🎃. I have a collection of scarecrows for my porch with real pumpkins, Gouda, and colorful floral. I add a funny Halloween mat and a few lanterns WTG a few lights. So a celebration of Fall and Halloween. Oh, I do have some cute Halloween signs for my yard🎃👻🤡
