Thanks to whoever posted this!! EE was taken off TV in Australia years ago, and I really missed it. I have never been able to catch up on what happened. I have alot of watching to do now!!
I loved the Den and Angie years. Honestly havent watched Eastenders for over 10 years now characters are awful these days dont make em like Leslie Grantham and Anita Dobson anymore

Did I really hear Wicksy tell Ethel that he got the dusters down the p*k* shop :-O ? I loved East Enders but lost all interest in it about 15 years ago. Seems to be a cast of chavs now.

Sian White Yes far too much violence in EastEnders now! Though some of the programme is still good but like most Soap Operas, it is not like it used to be! I once met Shaun Williamson who used to play Barry and even he would not let his children watch EastEnders as it is so violent!
Candygirl Vikkersen More violent? I thought it had more violence in the early 2000's then it does now. I think it's just boring now like all talk and really long story lines that take about ten years to climax.

Nick broke into the Dr Leggs surgery and stole some drugs and medical records. He found Kathys records which said she'd been raped when she was younger. Nobody knows about this. So he's blackmailing her.
Yes it does, in various forms over the centuries, it did derive from paganism. Only in the last 15 odd years it's become very commercialized. That's the influence of the US.
