I feel like that's a reference to a movie, of which I don't remember the name, but it's a one-liner: a man's gotta do something for a living. Dying ain't much of a living, boy.
I loved this movie's ending. If they had made it canon that Mike actually died and that Jaime became the new Halloween killer, that, in my eyes would have been perfect
It really would but they were just to scared to make a movie without Michael. I don’t see why they couldn’t just bring him back and still have Jamie evil. Rachel could be the protagonist again.
marsclaws wait how did u comment a day ago? I just got notifications and I checked his channel it said 3 minutes checked the date it said September 14 it’s September 14
i think that "rope" is just the collar of her sweater. as for the blood by her head, james prob mistook it for spilled coffee, what with the shards of dishes everywhere
Qha Zomb take a closer look. The rope is crooked and disconnected from the sweater. Also, it’s a different color from the sweater. As for the blood, it’s not coffee, but if it’s blood, then it’s unrealistic. People who die from strangulation doesn’t bleed from the mouth. It only happens if there was a cut inside the mouth that draws blood.
Pretty big selling point back in the day, Halloween 1 & 2 were HUGE on tv, and everyone felt kind of burned by 3 (no internet back then, kids). So that's how you get Halloween 4: Yes Guys, He's Back, We Promise.
@ANGERY DOGGO Mr babadook is my dad how could u offend him like that. I loved my daddy's movie but I wish dad could've strangled that kid from the start.
Yes!!!! Every week is just me sitting and waiting for the next Kill Count... and now that it's here I'll end up watching it 3 times haha. Amazing work as always James!
Im the same way im addicted to the kill counts i play them over and over whil watching the corresponding movies are there on DVD or on Netflix or Hulu or something like that
The turn to murderer from that little kid was one of my gripes with this movie, since it came out of nowhere with no indication of why. She was afraid of Michael. She trusted and loved her caretaker. No matter how you spin it. That change was just put there to shock the audience.
I think it was done like that to show that the same pure evil that corrupted Michael is in her. It’s how she was able to have a slight connection with him as her “nightmare man”. Obviously they completely go in a different direction in part 5. But it would have been interesting seeing Jamie as the new killer going forward.
@@johnepants I have never really understood why people wanted to see Jamie become the killer. Its like 10 years there was no Michael then he just comes back for one movie and dips back out of the franchise? By the way this isnt a criticism I know a lot of people agree with your take and wanted to see the franchise make that move.
@@xkmmx2132 it’s a valid question. It was an interesting set up for future movies and I think most fans are more annoyed with how things played out in Part 5. Making her a mute, giving her an annoying caregiver and equally annoying little friend, and then creating more sequel set up without m owing how they would pay it off.
With rewatching this recently it’s definitely one of the better Halloween movies. The mob scene in this movie was done way better than Halloween Kills. The pacing was done well and I never felt lost in where Michael was without him driving constantly like in the original. Rachel side plot wasn’t crazy annoying either though it was a bit dramatic. Love that the cops didn’t pull the trope of not believing the protagonist. The final chase was well done.
Yeah, but compared to a woman wearing no pants, no one wants to see a man not wearing any pants. (Well that's if you think differently, or if your a woman you're self)
No offense James, but one thing you forgot to comment on was the chilling opening credits; the different shots of farmland with quiet, but droning, atmospheric music, while also having shots of many conventional Halloween decorations that the music and scenery cast a dark presence over, definitely worth mentioning!
Imagine treating animals as religious figures. If you want to appear edgy with that “I don’t care for human lives” shtick, then at least keep that same energy when an animal that can’t feel complex emotions and literally eats feces dies.
Nobody cares about what you think, these are fictional characters so it's not always certain that people will be upset by their death. On the other hand, animals in movies aren't played unless they use CGI to create them, these are actual animals who you can feel a connection with if you like said animal. My point here is that i have never been sad about the other kills because i didn't feel connected to the characters, but i was sad the dog died because i like dogs and cats and feel connected to it
3:36. First he's trying to make a living, but instead he makes a dying. I will use this somehow in a conversation next time an opportunity arises...Not sure how that will happen but man thats a good line.
Are we sure James was wearing pants in this? XD After he quipped multiple times about how that girl needed to put pants on, I was _certain_ James was going to show up at The Numbers screen in just that shirt and Halloween pumpkin boxers or similar!
10:38 "Kelly! Put on Some Pants! Do you not own pants!?" LOL i remember watching halloween 4 back when i was a little kid and thinking the exact same thing! :P
I didn’t realize this until my fourth time watching this, James is wearing the same shirt as the cops daughter when she was caught “F-u-c-k-I-n-g” -James A. Janisse
A main character from Eflen Lied a Manga/Anime she's sociopathic murderer and hates dog killers also she's got invisible telekinetic arms coming out of her.
“yay” - *he uploaded as I get to school* - “just have to wait 7 hours to watch it” - “so happy” - **dies inside** Edit: OMG THANK YOU JESUS IM FINALLY HOME, I CAN WATCH IT.
0range oof. It came out at 9AM for me. Today we had a late start meaning that our school starts 2 hours later than usual. He uploaded it AS I LITERALLY WALKED INTO THE BUILDING.
I know it’s a horror movie but I hated when Jamie “killed” the foster mom😭 the whole time her foster sister was risking her life to keep Jamie alive they were becoming real sisters:(
I'm not shocked when Jamie is revealed to have become like his uncle. That scene where she got close to Michael was already a red flag to me. 😋 But how I love it when the protagonists turn bad.
Yeah only both of them weren't involved in that movie at all and didn't make the characters. The creators of curse did it as an easter egg without telling john carpenter or debra hill.
