Love the shot at the beginning with Jamie being observed in the castle turret. It goes along with the fairy tale motifs found in Halloween 5. Jamie(who’s costume is a princess) is the metaphorical princess being guarded in the castle(it’s why the Myers house looks like one) by a cop(knight) and is combing her hair(rapunzel). It’s no coincidence that the princess and the knight attempt to rappel down the castle with a rope before they’re deterred. The castle also has booby traps(courtesy of Dr. Loomis) and the film ends with Michael in a dungeon. Halloween 5 *tries* to be a movie about a cursed princess trying to free her uncle of the same deadly curse. Does it succeed, meh…. But Halloween 5 tried something unique for the franchise.
Not bad....but the TRUE knight was already outside facing the dragon...the person who tried to take her down the rope was more like a portly fairy godmother...
Personally me Halloween 5 was ok but I wish the plot was better i think they could have written it to were both Rachel and Tina lived in Halloween 5 then kill them off in the middle of halloween 6 and in Halloween 6 Jamie can be a teenager that wants to go to a college halloween party with her friends but Rachel and Tina who senses that Michael Myers is coming back on halloween night tries to warn her not to travel alone but Jamie being rebulios doesn't listen and gets kidnapped by him so Rachel and Tina go to save her but Michael Myers kills them and Jamie is possessed at the end and turns evil.
