@@electroazure I am a Alan Howarth Fan, And I can say no it's not, Reason being is the soundtrack with the highest quality is the official soundtrack. Which means the guitar version of the theme song is the official song and the creeeeepy religious cult-ish soundtrack after it. This is like the Halloween (1978) Mono Theme Song; A later-released piece of music not included in the official confirmed choice of music, If this was the original piece Alan Howarth would have planted it inside the official soundtrack instead of the producer's cut soundtrack, Alan wanted to spice things up with the Theme Song so he picked the guitar version, Since Halloween 666 is a cult film of the Halloween Franchise he kept the original soundtrack instead which is what you hear in the movie and in the official soundtrack. The guitar/drum solo in the middle section of the Theme Song is actually the scene where Jamie's nurse runs from Michael only to be killed by him later with a very sharp piece hanging from the wall. Alan wanted to make Halloween 666 interesting, Not boring. Edit: Also, Alan created a legacy as after Halloween 666, movies like Halloween H20 and Halloween Resurrection used Orchestras, Later, Halloween 9: (2007 Halloween (1978) Remake) and Halloween 10: (2009 Halloween II Remake), and Halloween 11: (2018) used electric guitars to describe the Evil commencement that's about to happen and to make the soundtrack sound bold and very epic. Now many Halloween Fans tribute Alan Howarth by playing the Halloween Theme on a guitar or using a guitar-orchestrated rendition followed by other instruments (piano, percussion) to further create their style of Halloween Theme Song covers. WHD Studios 2 well the producers and H666 was the original. The Theatrical was forced by The Weinsteins Company and many had to do reshoots of the movie in which we see the theatrical cut. I do understand the point but the producers was the original. Halloween 666 was just a used name just so they can release a teaser back in ‘94 or something that year. Theatrical was a bunch of reshoots and in which we see today. (Edit): The Theatrical was the final cut that was released
@@electroazure Actually, Halloween 666 is the unofficial title of Halloween 6. 666 meant June 6, 1996. Also, The official soundtrack IS the original soundtrack. This is actually just the remastered later-released version of it. Using Halloween (1978) again, If you look back into the movie, You notice the Theme Song itself sounds up-pitched than the original soundtrack itself, That meant it is the movie version, This one here is just for show just like in Halloween (1978). Carpenter wanted to go with the drum version (The one with the foot stomping alongside the piano and synthesizers) but he thought it would scare people more if he added the edited version (Now known as the remastered Theme Song without the beat and secondary ticking) and remove a couple notes by technological edit (Used by a computer source in his recording studio) at the end of the song to form what's now the opening credits theme. If you listen to the official arrangement of the Halloween 6 Theme and then go back and listen to this version of the Halloween 6 Theme you would notice this one is slightly more faster, less scary, has a dull piano tuning, And is slightly off key from the original Halloween Theme note requirement. The official arrangement with the guitar sounds like they're trying to make it sound like John Carpenter is playing it, In this version it sounds like Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers 2.0, Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers does not pick up from Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers whatsoever, Definitely after Danielle Harris refused to return back as Jamie; Replacing with the actress who looks nothing like the Real Jamie in comparison to her kid self in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. And if you also listen slightly to both renditions you can see that they both have the same running time length, The official and original arrangement with the guitar has a creepy, creepy Halloween-ish scary vibe to the song in the middle section during the guitar/drum solo when the guitar riffs stop sounding. You can hear a dog, or thing bark in evil? If I am not mistaken, Even in the official movie you will be able to tell that MOST of the track list playing at each scene is from the official soundtrack, Making it the original soundtrack as the original is ALWAYS in a movie. Minus H20 having Scream's soundtrack, But that's mainly because to remind Us Halloween Fans that the whole entire H20 movie was ACTUALLY on the set of Scream!
