Fun fact: Actually today I was bored and read a article about candy corn and apparently when it was made it was called “Chicken Feed” and it represented all the farmers in the USA at the time and it used to be in a box with a rooster saying “Something worth crowing for” Edit: I am aware I might have my facts a bit but wrong

Fun fact: Soul cakes were actually used during the Samhain festival in druid and pagan rituals. It was basically a lottery. Everyone in the coven would take a soul cake and the person with the soul cake that had a burnt bottom was sacrificed to the gods.

Kassie, fun fact: if you have the time and stack candy corns in a circle and than on top of each other (i am bad at explaining, sorry) they will start to form a corn on the cob like shape!

I always give out chips on Halloween lol. After years of throwing out half my candy bag the next year I figured you could never go wrong with a little bag of chips that you’ll probably eat when you get home to balance out the sweetness of all that candy.

I love most of these candies and ate a fair amount when I was little. Surprisingly I never got cavities. 😂
