As a current Joann's employee, I can tell you for certain: We aren't trying to sleep on y'all. We literally haven't got the inventory in yet. Our suppliers got hit by the pandemic too, so currently it's a waiting game for all parties involved. Things we think are gonna be on the truck this week take until next week's delivery to finally arrive.... Trust me. I'm right here with you just waiting to blow my paycheck on spooky decor. If I had to guess, a LOT of bigger companies are feeling the effects of the pandemic because a lot of their suppliers were in China and they were in full shut down for a long while. Thanks for the video. I've been feeling less full on scary and more like a children's funhouse, mildly creepy lately with the lack of Halloween stuff. Good stuff Jade! I also remember seeing something at MY Joann's store that I remember thinking was your aesthetic but I couldn't remember what it was now for the life of me.

I feel your pain. As a small business owner in a completely different field, what used to be a simple one-day order/delivery process, sometimes a backorder taking days longer, now might take a week or two. Purell? Pffft!! Going on months now since March. Some pricing has risen as well ( to my and my customers dissatisfaction ). It's good you speak up and inform folks of how amazingly slow it is regarding general flow, certain products in particular, and hopefully they will be more than understanding. I got your back!

@@JennaMcCallister It's all connected and there is a LOT of stress in the Economy, so: I have to remember to not take out my frustrations on my suppliers who have little flexibility since other institutions take priority right now, i.e. health field. Or the obvious, businesses were shut down or severely limited in operations which meant that there wasn't as much product to get out there to consumers ( or it's very delayed ). It's a mess and we would all do better to not take it out on each other as if we are each other's enemies.

Macht Nichts Sei Mann 100% agreed. I’m searching for a new couch right now for my move and there’s nothing available right now. I had to remind myself why that is and that I have to be patient because none of this can be helped. Hopefully everything goes a lot more smoothly for you soon!

Not trying to talk your ear off, it's just that your comments reminded me of an acquaintance who suddenly had to shop for a new refrigerator and outdoor spa. She had the hardest time finding the fridge model in white ( then was initially quoted 6 months for delivery?!? ), and there were only 2 spas available ( in total due to manufacturers stopping production ) within 100 miles, so...that's all she can choose from. WoW. Well, I keep reminding my customers when pricing goes up due to scarcity it's how it is in general right now. One was shocked, but at least said: "Well, we know you wouldn't gouge us." She didn't sound convincing, though, so can't say I had peace-of-mind when I left her business site. Thanks again for your kind support!

I took out 3 big garbage bags full of old decorations and old stuff I don’t like anymore and my room still a mess and half decorated hahaha 😂 but really 😢 I wish I could just take everything out of my room and start over my whole bedroom. I want a sunflower/gray/yellow themed room but I don’t have a job yet and my mum doesn’t want to spend a lot of money on a bed frame and paint for my walls. 😔 I will try to convince her

@@strangerdanger8343 - Sounds like you're in the UK, otherwise in the States there are hazardous materials recycling centers which put out cans of different colored paint for people to take for...FREE. Also, Freecycle is a help where you could post: "In need of a bed frame with such-and-such dimensions" and someone might very well respond with: "I got one. Come and get it." Maybe the UK has similar options.

I work at a HomeGoods and the best thing to do is find out when they get their trucks in and go on that day when they’re putting stuff out or the next days bc odds are it takes 1-2 days to process it so within 2 days they have the new stuff out ! 🖤

I don’t decorate with traditional Halloween decor, my house is “Day of the Dead” decked out. I plant orange marigolds outside, I hang paper picado inside and I have sugar skulls everywhere. I can’t waittttt 😍 My husband helps me decorate and hopefully this year we can find a male and female “Calavera Catrina” (they are sooo expensive!) y’all enough for the entrance of our home.

Hey I just found your channel on my homepage my birthday is on Halloween and where I'm from we have Halloween stores 365 days a year it's amazing! in the minority here, but i really love the pink and black stuff from michael's this year! one of my favorite things ever is stuff that's both pretty and creepy/macabre, and my bedroom decor has lots of pink, so i'm SOOO hype about it!!

I think that line is beautiful!!! If it went with my themes this year or my color scheme in my house I would snag that line up so fast!! I might actually snag some things to put in my powder room for Valentines day!! So glad there was a theme this year that fit your decor - love that stores are branching out but keeping it classy and not cheesy AF! 🖤🖤🖤

I got to only run to TJ Maxx this weekend, but I got some cute pieces! The purple and orange vintage radios you showed I got one in a nice diner colored light blue! When you turn the second dial it actually changes the "channel" and you get a witch report, weather, and music. It's so cute!!! I also got a new insulated cup that has bats and pumpkins all over it, as well as a new Halloween blanket! I'm so excited for everything! Hopefully going out either Thursday or Saturday this week! 🎃

I feel like so many stores are holding out that schools will be back in session because I've never seen back to school out for so long. Like the target near me still has back to school fully out and it's like they're trying not to put Halloween out until they sell through it or something. Let's be real school is not gonna be normal this year so let's start busting out the hollowing stuff come on lol

WalMart has those Reeses pumpkins! Those Halloween radios you can also turn the knob and get spooky music etc. Make a noose to hang your rear view mirror skeleton. I adore scary creepy mugs too! At the end of the vlog you did go to WM for the pumpkins...but I left my answer anyway, lol.
