Halloween Ends (2022) Movie Review/Rant |The FANBOYS HAVE NO ROOM TO TALK!!!! 

Terrible movie. It wasn’t a Halloween 🎃 movie

Some other ways this movie doesn't make sense: - Michael wipes out an entire lynch mob at the end of Kills and supposedly gets stronger with every kill. Then. . . Corey the engineering student beats the crap out of him and steals his mask? - Laurie was reduced to an alcoholic basketcase due to one encounter with Michael back in the 70s. She devotes her entire life to waiting for him to get free so she can kill him. Then he slips away and is at large and. . . well now it's time to become June Cleaver and bake pies? - All it takes is a news report and the populace of Haddonfield turn into an "Evil Dies Tonight" lynch mob. So. . . did they start putting Xanax in the local water supply or something? Michael's at large and we're expected to believe the citizenry isn't sitting with their weaponry at hand, eyes twitching, ready to start screaming "Evil Dies Tonight" and go hunting the local homeless elderly population? - Where's 5 counties worth of armed deputies and volunteers searching every square inch of Haddonfield above ground and below? Michael by this point has killed state psychiatric staff, several police, numerous civilians, and an entire fire department ladder. It's not like the state's just going to give up on that. That would be the man hunt to end all man hunts.

This movie made Halloween kills look like a masterpiece.

Halloween ends was bad it sucks that they made micheal myers a punk and they disrespected micheal myers character this is a really bad movie

You are blunt, honest, and articulate and those are amazing qualities for someone reviewing a film! You picked apart Halloween Ends perfectly and more importantly, you reminded your viewers that you are not making it personal when you criticize the decisions David Gordon Green and the writers made. I honestly don't know why they made the decisions they did with Halloween Ends. David Gordon Green himself said it never crossed his mind that Ends was supposed to be a story about Michael or Laurie. He actually said that in his interview right after the movie came out and when it was receiving backlash from fans. David Gordon Green seems to have the largest pair of nuts on earth to actually admit what he did in that interview, especially after how bad and awfully written Ends was. Thank you for reviewing the film and I also cracked up at when you said food was hanging from the guy's mouth. There were so many wtf moments in the film lol.

The thing that truly drove me crazy was they kept focusing on his face throughout the trilogy, the mask kept coming off and the zoom in on his face was too much, they demystified him for no reason

Personally I liked the Evil Changes Shape concept, I think if it wasn't the end and Corey was established it would've fit the narrative way better. I like his arc but it doesn't work as a sendoff to this particular story, The relationship he had with Michael reminded me of Christine so I was intrigued by that and felt like Michael being a team player separated him from the other slashers. Its an interesting addition to his character, after all he was fine with being by the Thorne cult's side, but I 100% agree that Allyson needed to be written better. She's all over the place in Ends despite her actress giving it all they got.

Halloween ends was absolutely garbage. The way the did Michael was fucked. I didn’t mind the story they were trying to go with but they should’ve introduced Cory early on in like Halloween 2018. And fleshed him out throughout Halloween kills.

Out of all the Halloween rant videos, this one is a little ridiculous. You actually find it hard to believe that Jeremy, a kid in the 21st century would know all about Michael Myers? 😂. Halloween Ends literally picks up 1 year after Halloween Kills, of course this kid and every kid in Haddonfield knows all about Michael Myers. It’s probably been all on the news, on his tablet/iPad and talked about in school with other youngsters etc. heck, even the kids in Halloween 4 knew about Michael Myers to taunt Jamie and that was in 1988 (pre internet)😂. Other than that crazy bit, I agree with a lot you said.

They killed a character off that they wasted a hour and a half building up! I didn't mind him as much as I thought i would! They bitch and moan about Busta Rhymes but Corey treated him more like a punk! Also Busta is a big dude and more believable then a 200 pound dude! This was a pretentious movie purposely made! Because it was the 3rd movie! Not only do they hate the movie's but they hate the fans, just watch a con with JLC! It was a good movie but was 💩💩 when it came to a Halloween movie! 6/10!

Wtf is corey and where was he the last two films? Michael is super natural when they want him to be and weak ass he'll when Jlc decides its time to kill him...again! Omg this was awful.

Halloween ends just felt like Halloween 3. The movie was ok in my opinion. Definitely not the Best in the trilogy. Sad that they completely. Nerfed micheal myers. In the movie. But yeah this movie could've been better. If micheal was in it more.

It didn't even feel like a Halloween movie. like what the hell is this it was like they were trying to make two or three movies and smashed them into one. I hated it.. It also felt rushed like they came up with dialogue has they were recording the movie. how they portrayed Michael in this yeah no way f*** that. Horrible movie

The movie sucks

I don't even know where to start here. To put it bluntly: Blumhouse Productions, David Gorden Green, Danny McBride, Chris Bernier and Paul Brad Logan have took a huge dump on the Halloween Franchise for the fourth time with Halloween Ends. I'm really not sure if this Franchise can recover from this disaster again. The makers of this film put Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning (1985), Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday (1993), A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985) and Christine (1983) in a blender. Mixed those four films together with the worst elements of Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989) and Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995). Thrown in a dash of Halloween H20 (1998) and voilà! The result is Halloween Ends and it's gloriously awful. And yet this new Halloween Trilogy got off to a good start with Halloween (2018). Yes, it stumbled with Halloween Kills (2021), but Halloween Kills was just a bridge movie in this trilogy. That had been a big problem. Halloween Ends isn't just a big slap in the face for these two movies, oh no! This film is a huge slap in the face to the entire Halloween Franchise. It doesn't feel like a Halloween Movie at all! It's just boring, frustrating and disappointing. So many new characters are introduced in this one. All have zero personality, are simply one dimensional and a bunch of assholes. I didn't like the Corey storyline at all. It had ZERO Pay off and was just pointless! Allyson is all over the place in this film. Her decisions made no sense and were completely contradictable to her character in comparison to the previous two films. Not to mention how annoying and unlikable she became in Ends. She really reminded me of Scout Taylor-Compton's Laurie Strode from Rob Zombie's Halloween 2. Michael Myers himself (when he appeared) seemed bored, disinterested and tired. To add insult to injury, he was completely disrespected in this movie. You really want me to believe that some 24 years old douchebag who was bullied and beaten by some high school bullies, can beat the f*cking Michael Myers and stole his mask. Are you serious with this bullshit?! Heck, when this movie FINALLY decided to be a Halloween Movie, I was about to walk out of the theater. Not even the Kills are good in this movie imo. How can you screw up so much with something so simple! Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode is the only shining light in this awful film. She's the only thing stopping me from giving this movie 0/5 stars. If David Gorden Green really wanted to "Season of the Witch" the Franchise then he should have NOT bring Laurie and Michael back in Kills and Ends. He had the opportunity to give those characters a nice send-off in 2018 but he didn't do it. He is a hack! I have absolutely no interest now in his Exorcist Reboot Trilogy. His Halloween Trilogy is so inconsistent. Like he and Danny McBride can't decide whether or not Michael Myers is a normal human being or a supernatural entity. In Kills, Laurie said and I quote: "I always thought Michael Myers was flesh and blood, just like you and me, but a mortal man could not have survived, what he's lived through." Then in Ends she says and I quote: "I thought maybe you were the boogeyman. No, you're just a man [...]." Is he supernatural or not? David Gorden Green and Danny McBride be like: "Who knows, who cares!" Halloween Ends (2022) gets 1/5 stars from me. Worst movie of 2022 so far for me. I can deal with a badly made movie that has bad writing and bad acting as long as it's still entertaining. The worst thing a movie can do to me is if it bores me and waste my time. Halloween Ends did that to me. I have never left the cinema so speechless, confused and angry at the same time. It's by far the worst movie in the Halloween Franchise. Yes, it's WORSE than Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989), Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995), Halloween: Resurrection (2002), Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 (2009) and Halloween Kills (2021). I'm dead serious! I would rather rewatch those movies than this piece of shit ever again because at very least those movies felt like actual Halloween Movies to me, even so they suck. I HATE Halloween Ends. After this travesty, whatever other studio who will own the rights to this Franchise should really just do Halloween Anthology Movies. Do what John Carpenter and Debra Hill envisioned for this Franchise to become after Halloween II (1981). It failed with Season of the Witch in 1982 but now it is the right time to do that in my opinion. Michael Myers character is so played-out at this point that I don't think a new Reboot with him will be any successful, especially without Jamie Lee Curtis. Even if they will bring back Danielle Harris as Jamie Lloyd and make a direct Sequel to Halloween 4 and delete Halloween 5 and 6 from the timeline, so what? They gonna f*ck it up again! They do it everytime! Everytime they made a decent or a good Sequel to the 1978 Original or 1981 Halloween II, they immediately do a Sequel/Sequels that ruins everything. They did it with Halloween 4 which was ruined by Halloween 5 and 6. Then with H20 which was ruined by Resurrection and now with Halloween (2018) which is ruined by Kills and Ends. This makes 3 strikes now. You're out! As far as I'm concerned the Story of Michael Myers ended with Halloween II (1981). Michael Myers died in that movie with Dr. Loomis who sacrificed his life and died in a blaze of glory.

It wasn't perfect and was a bit slow at times but I overall liked it for trying something different. I know many didn't like Michael not being the main star but he's been the main killer for 10+ films now. The change of pace reminded me of Friday the 13th A New Beginning and Jason Goes to Hell Seeing Corey's fall from grace was quite something as well. The final fight was quite intense and satisfying too, overall I felt it ended everything well.

Yeah man. This movie had a lot of potential. To be honest I enjoyed half of it. The other half was very flawed and unejoyable because like you said much of it doesn't make sense. Too many rabbits being pulled out the hat here. Things that bother me are that Corey just shows up. MIchael being weak they should have said something like hey he got wounded so bad in the last movies he was weak. At least something. Even after he dies , which is over the top that an old woman can overpower a man like him.. Corey throwing a knife with dna evidence on it from homeless murder is like a plot hole. People wouldn't have known right away to show up at the junk yard let alone be quiet. They would have been hysterical about Michael Myers being there and probably trying to tare apart his belongings and fuck up his body, have their phones out and wonder if it was really him. Even the fans idea of Michael regaining consciousness and pulling her into the incenerator with him would at least be a more satisfying book end. I totally am with you and Everyday horror. David Gordon Green and Jamie Lee Curtis have fucked us once again! tag teaming to ruin the beloved franchise. Anyways man thank you , you were right once again. I also am glad it ended
