A quick video of my stay in the Corner Cottage at the Paramour estate. The exterior of the cottage was used as Jamie Lee Curtis' home in Halloween: H20. For more locations for Halloween, visit www.set-jetter.com
This is so cool. How did you gain access here? Particularly at night? Also, are in the interior shots in the film actually filmed inside the cottage? It certainly looks like it matches the exterior (especially the kitchen scene between Laurie and John).
I saw the video in your dropbox. Crazy how her house is in a cul-de-sac but they make it look like she drove down a street to get there lol. Great video
Wow u have always been searching for this. It's the one that Noone has done. Not adamthewoo not horrorhallowedgrounds..none of them have this. The canefield Moreno estate for some of it?
Hi, Sean Clark from Horrors Hallowed Grounds was able to join me on part of my visit. Unfortunately, most of my location comparison videos were taken down because of copyright, but you can find a ton of pictures on my website here: www.set-jetter.com/ontheset/halloweenh20
Awesome I wanted to ask about the gate, someone went to the estate recently and there is an entrance that has a gate like in the movie but the guard hut is not there and the back ground does not match so I am wondering if some of the back grounds were changed in post!
Nope, the gate was in a completely different location. You can find more information about it and all the H20 locations I visited right here: www.set-jetter.com/ontheset/halloweenh20
@Robert Patterson Unfortunately blocked by Miramax. You could use video image still shots from H2O and on screen text explanations instead to show the comparisons which might not get flagged. Would really like to see a full video of the locations for sure.
@@islanders1329fan There were only a couple scenes shot inside the cottage (i.e. looking out the window and with Michael's reflection), otherwise it was all a set for interiors.
@@robertpatterson5786 Interesting.. What’d you think of Chris Durand as Michael Myers? Do you think the character wasn’t the same with him walking faster when stalking Jamie and her kids out to the car? I always thought Michael being his usual slow walk self when stalking his intended murder victims really made the fear he made them feel just shoot through the roof because he’s like “run all you want because you can’t hide from me” That was bone chilling. Would you agree? Chris Durand (again) walking faster as Michael Myers is not quite the same. H20 felt more like I was watching Scream because of that.
@@islanders1329fan It felt more like Scream to me because they lifted quite a bit of the soundtrack for it, which is unfortunate, but H20 is still one of my favorites. I like Durand for the most part as Michael, but nothing will ever beat the original.
