you can kill me with videos. I look forward to this every year, since I can't go personally. I would have gone back for another doritos/pork walking nachos i think they were called. that looked really good.
Thanks for your honest first impressions of this year’s activities. It looks like this event was worth the money to be able to get through all the houses at a nice pace, enjoy time in less crowded scare zones, and try as much food as you could. Here’s hoping they give it another try next year. And good luck cleaning to you and the family (and Paul) this haunt season. We look forward to enjoying your adventures.
I have to say my issue with the food this year is it seems heavier and more like actual meals. Which is fine in theory, but we'd need more seating. A lot of the previous food was a "While walking" or a "Five or so minutes before we continue" I appreciate the diversity it's just... kinda heavy. I make food reviews to send to my mom while pretending to be an influencer and usually I can pick out a few to try. It's harder this year. Only exception seems to be the walking taco which does sound great. I'll be down next week and I'm excited! It'll be nice to have a break and I didn't realize how much I missed houses until I saw this video. Man I miss it.
Agreed on lack of seating and needing to be stationary for the most part while eating the offerings. The walking taco was tough to eat while moving bc the bag was loaded.
@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats Such is life when spooky season comes along. By the way, how would you rate the walking situation this year? The last few years were plagued with those long walks from the parade buildings to ET. Does it feel similar with the new tent houses or slightly improved?
@@conkercitoPR There’s still a ton of walking. The new tents are back by where Oddfellow and Bugs were in the past. We ended up with 9.5 miles walked last night.
So all the food you showed, looks like you had about $130 in food. Not adding if you had a drink with the Insidious stop. And assuming you didn’t get anything at the Monstruos place. Even though it was $350/$325(AP discount) that’s still sounds cheaper than a single day ticket and RIP tour. I really hope they do this again next year. It would be awesome if that’s what Halloween night was. Cause pulsing through the house sounds amazing… some of my best memories of past houses are when you get that magical you’re the only people in the house. The Shining, US, and Walking Dead (2015 I think) are some of the few I remember going through like that and it made them so much better when you got every scare.
Yeah, it probably ended up around $150 in food and soft drinks and water with what I had. The rest of the value was the low crowds and pulsing for sure. Being able to get all of the scares made for a great experience.
@ViewFromTheCheapSeats Yea, the emptiness of the park looked amazing... and just checking the website, R.I.P. tours start at $359.99. So with all you got to experience, even leaving 2 hours early, that looked completely worth it! I look forward to more spooky videos from you this season. Have a good one man!
It's to minimal for Me this year. I know we're getting older and the event evolves..but it's not a food festival. I swear there's more food than scares.(not due to your coverage, its just that)
The event has definitely evolved over the years and the focus is spread around to other things like the food (which doesn’t usually interest me either). The other factors for it being minimal is the need to have certain clearance in the streets for the daytime parade to go through and Uni focusing spending on finishing Epic Universe.
