Why was Michael’s mom back in the movie? Zombie has to cast his wife in every movie just to get laid.

I remember one time I had a booth at this horror convention and some of the cast from H1 was there, after a while they went walking around and the kid that played young Michael & Laurie was standing at the booth right next to ours, we heard them talking about face piercings and the young Michael said "I can't get my face pierced because ya know, this is the money maker right here" I couldn't help myself that made me laugh 😂 he didn't stop at my booth but Laurie did and she was really sweet. Btw I walked out the theater after I saw how Loomis was in H2

Rob Zombie should’ve done Friday the 13th, his style fits it. But on the flip side we did get Halloween 2018 🤷🏽‍♂️

I agree with J, that whole "my mom tells me what to do" was a Jason thing. Clearly Rob Zombie just needed to have his wife in this somehow. This movie was such a disappointment.

I've actually grown to really like this movie. It's still got the shitty Rob Zombie dialogue and shit, but I like it. I like the look of Michael in this one (unpopular opinion) cuz it looks more realistic and badass. I love the cinematography (especially that farm scene with the pickup trucks). And I love the family dynamic between Laurie and the brackets, and Brad Douriff and Danielle Harris were fuckin great. However, there are some shit things. Loomis is a total dick, the Myers mask looks kinda weird (although I like the overall look) but I love how he put it on when he killed people cuz it made the mask feel more special to me, Laurie became way too fuckin edgy and crazy when she is supposed to be the nice neighborhood girl, and there are like tons of crazy shit like the fuckin white horse garbage and Sheri Moon Zombie being shoved in again. Overall, this movie does have lots of shit, but I do really like it.

The first 30 minutes of Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 is amazing! But unfortunately after that the movie goes downhill... But at least we still have Mane's awesome performance as Michael Myers. And at the end of the movie we have one the saddest scene in the entire franchise. Is when Sheriff Brackett see his daughter dead in the bathroom (R.I.P Jamie). That scene was very sad, and it was an excellent performance by Brad Dourif. Tyler Mane, Sheriff Chucky and Grown Up Jamie, was the only things that made me watch this movie until the end... And also Tyler's wife play one of the sheriff's deputies and she's beautiful... Tyler is a lucky guy...

I would say the Annie death scene in H2 is the most brutal death scene in any movie I've scene. I can't watch it, I feel terrible for her when it goes down.

rob has stated in an interview that the producers came to him and told him they want this movie to 'be more rob zombie'...and rz even said idk how to make this movie more me....he was pressured into making this in a messed up manner....so you cant put the blame all on him...blame Harvey Weinstein and the producers at Miramax

I went to see Inglorious Bastards by myself opening weekend, then my wife texted me while i was in the screen and said her and her brother were coming to see H2 about 30mins AFTER. So i literally walked out of Inglorious Bastards when it ended, bought a ticket to H2 and walked right back into another screen. For a while i blamed my hate of This movie on being just tired. Then i bought the DVD and realized I just let Rob Zombie shove his dirty, greasy fingers down my pants again and I let myself get diddled by this Hobo Trash once more! Great review guys. Great video guys, glad we see eye to eye on Rob Zombie's versions of Halloween. So sad this is the last review, you guys make all of our days so much better. I never feel like I'm just watching a normal boring movie review, you guys make movie reviews so awesome! I wanna shed a tear that the Halloween series trailer reactions, and reviews are over. The Loomis and Michael reactions are also so great. I hope y'all can tackle the Nightmare series next. So once again keep up the great work guys and I can't believe how underrated y'all are and how no one has signed y'all to a TV series. Y'all could easily beat anything on TV these days!

He absolutely shitted all over Dr. Loomis in this, honestly what he did was a complete atrocity, Unforgivable... Michael speaking is also a huge atrocity to Halloween...

I honestly didn't hate this movie as much after watching it a couple more times. I feel it's not the worst movie of the franchise if you just ignore/get past the whole white horse bs. Myers grunting added a part to him that he didnt have in the past movies so he's not just stabbing or getting hurt and not making a sound like a robotic mannequin. Also, sorry, but I liked the beard and long hair because to me it just showed that Michael doesn't care about his appearance or who he is without his mask. Prolly gonna get a lot of hate for this but, yeah.

I’m probably one of the few hardcore Halloween 78 fans who actually loves Zombie’s Halloween. It’s funny because what I have always loved about the original Halloween and Halloween 2 was how creepy he was in the shadows. Yet I love how brutal Michael is in Zombie’s version.

I bet Rob Zombie really wanted Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise.

When all this Halloween business is concluded for October, you guys should tackle the entire Hellraiser franchise. Re-review the original two (the best ones) and slog your way through the terrible sequels. Would be a treat to see and hear your reactions and thoughts on that trainwreck of a series. The first two were awesome, but the rest is just a downward spiral into stupidity.

Of the big 3, Halloween has series has more style and class than the others . With this film, Rob Zombie just took a shit and jizzed all over the the entire series. When this movie was in theater, I almost walked out after 20 minutes. I can't see how there is any love or even like for this movie.

Honestly. I like this movie, it's like if Andy Warhol made a "Halloween" movie. It's a Rob Zombie fever dream and it's weird and all over the place and doesn't make sense, but I'm sure it'd be a REALLY fun watch on a couple of hits of acid or a quarter ounce of shrooms.

If this was it's own horror movie and a Halloween movie, it would actually be a dope horror movie

The alternate endings to both of the Rob Zombie Halloween movies are what they deserve, to be riddled with bullets LOL

About the Charles Manson thing -- I'M TOTALLY WITH YOU, I HATE THE GOTHIC SHIT, BUT..... This is why I love SCOUT'S performance here, NOT LAURIES because she's no longer Laurie but as someone with PTSD after someone trying to murder by shooting me twice and my friend 4 times I can tell you, you change -- Not that crazy but it's almost like you lose what you were and struggle to replace it with something worse. I was shot but for the next few months I litterally couldn't go to sleep unless I was listening to gunshots ( WW2 footage in the MILITARY channel) even though that was the thing that caused the PTSD, it's so weird, IT'S ALMOST LIKE IT'S YOUR NEW NORMAL AND YOU NEED IT. It's been over 12 years and I STILL HAVE NIGHTMARES of the SAME THING every single night. It happens in different places with different people but it's always of me getting shot and IT ALWAYS HURTS AS BAD AS IT DID IN REAL LIFE. It's crazy as fuck.

The hospital scene is tremendous, even if it was a dream sequence. But everything after that can fuck off. Zombie made the movie HE wanted to make, fair enough, but it's not my type of Halloween movie. But Zombie has a great eye for presentation and camera shots but he really needs a script editor by his side.

I feel like when Rob Zombie was working on this movie, he hit some good ass drugs, saw all these dumbass trippy bullshit images on a near overdose, and said, "That's our movie".

The guy that plays Roach in The People Under the Stairs is in this turd, he's towards the end in the car and tries to help Laurie and Myers just flips his ride

Ive never been able to finish it, even to this day, i cant sit it out. Watched the whole franchise leading up to 2018, and got 20 mins into H2, and had to drop kick in the faces!!!!

To me, much like how I feel about Halloween III, if you forget that it's a Halloween movie it's actually pretty good.

4:40 to be fair, Laurie’s parents and friends are killed and she’s kidnapped by MM and has to deal with shooting him in the face and we’re seeing how she’s coping a year (or two years) later - meanwhile we’re all accepting Laurie in Halloween 2018 having ruined her life and daughter’s childhood for 40 years because she dealt with MM for 20 minutes in 1978 and he killed two of her friends and that’s it. Oddly enough, the PTSD comes off a lot more realistic in the Rob Zombie movie.

This Isnt my favorite Halloween but I do like tyler mane as Michael Myers and I liked the part where he kills the nurse in the hospital but I still find it more watchable than resurrection

I AGREE FULLY but.... (And I think you'll agree with this) this is why I like PARTS of this movie. #1. Laurie -- Not her attitude but I can tell you from being shot twice in Detroit, which resulted in me having PTSD because someone tried to murder me, that HE NAILED the PTSD shit. I thought Scout Taylor Compton (NOT LAURIE) DID AMAZING WITH THAT BECAUSE THAT SHIT TRANSFORMS YOU. #2. Michael -- We all agree the HOSPITAL SCENE WAS INCREDIBLE (some of the best Michael shit ever if not the best) but let me say this. I TOTALLY AGREE about the beard and seeing his face, etc. BUT... When I was shot I was a psychopath at the time who actually was trying to be Michael Myers (this is for real, no joke) and I was saved by Jesus Christ on an operating table. Anyway, I had a vision when I was being operated on that if I wanted to be like Michael Myres THIS IS WHAT MY LIFE WOULD BE... When I was shot, I wouldn't be able to go to the hospital, I'd have to live in the woods essentially and try to survive. I'd be in the cold day and night being searched for and shit and would most likely die from infections in the wounds. So needless to say I was born again and my life changed 100% So in this movie I think they nailed that aspect of it, that THIS IS THE REALITY OF WHAT A KILLER'S LIFE WOULD BE LIKE. But I would NEVER eat a fucking dog bro.

rob zombie's halloween 2 makes halloween resurrection look like a modern day masterpiece...i honestly feel like rob almost made the movie horrible so he could get out of the contract with the weinsteins.

Zombies mistake was he should not have gone away from the hospital idea; should have done about 80% of movie in hospital!

After Laurie's traumatic event in part 1 and put a Manson poster in her bedroom?!? Really?!? Zombie is an idiot. Why would any victim of a murderer idolize a murderer?!? Mike and J, Good morning. Over the past few weeks, I've thought about this plot hole, and I wanted to know what you guys think: in Halloween (1978), during the closet scene, Michael gets a wire hanger to his left eye, rendering him blind in that eye. Fast forward to Halloween II (1981), which, as we know, takes place on the same night. With that in mind, Michael would be blind in one eye for the entirety of H2. The plot hole lies in the final scene in the hospital, where Michael gets both his eyes shot out by Laurie. BOTH his eyes. Meaning, his left eye shouldn't have been affected by the shot, and shouldn't have bled, due to the eye having already been severely injured at the Wallace House. My point is, how could Michael's left eye have been blinded by the gunshot at the end of H2, if the eye had already been blinded by the hanger in H1? Is this actually a plot hole, or am I just reading to much into it? I look forward to seeing you guys in the next video. I love your FUCKING faces! ;-)

Can you imagine how weird the thorn trilogy could have been if Rob Zombie went that route? It could have been pretty decent I think. And lastly, imagine Rob Zombie going the H8 route and having Dangertainment in his movie 🤣

I'm with Mike on this one; there are parts of H2 that I really enjoyed and thought could have gone in such a good direction were it not for the abject idiocy of the unicorn shit, SMZ's Mrs. Voorhees ripoff, Laurie being horribly scripted and Loomis being a soulless hack fame seeker. And one thing that did absolutely piss me off was that the Halloween theme was nowhere in the film until the credits.

I was so glad I didn't watch this horse shit in the theatre. I came across it at Wal-Mart one night right when it came out on DVD & I was like welp might as well check it out. Bought it, popped it in the portable DVD player, & was hoping for the best. The rage built up little by little as the movie went on & I almost lost it when I heard Michael say DIE. I wanted to punch the screen, take out the disc & frisbee that bitch acrossed the room 😂 I respect Rob for his music & his own style of horror movies, but he better not ever & I mean (in my Chris Jericho voice) EEEEEVVVEEERRRR make another Halloween movie again.

Despite glaring flaws, the theatrical version of RZ H2 is among my favorites in the franchise.

Have you guys seen the Theatrical version of this movie? It’s still bad but it’s so much better than the director’s cut. Laurie’s character is so different in both versions and Loomis’ character isn’t so much unlikable.

lol I will give Rob Zombie credit for making H2 different from the original Halloween 2, I don’t really like the movie but the big issue I had with his first Halloween movie was that it basically was the 78 original with more violence and a few new things thrown in, I personally don’t mind the backstory because it’s something different but eh it is what it is, btw did you guys know that there were plans for a sequel that picked up with Laurie in a nut house and she’s just full on crazy and basically the new Michael Myers, he’s still alive btw and she literally tells one of the nurses that her brother will cut her “throat to cunt” when he gets here, she flip flops from trying to help people get away from Michael to him giving her his knife to kill someone lol and she freaking kills sheriff bracket too

Rob Zombie made 1 great Halloween movie and the sequel was good(from an artistic standpoint). There was a great film hidden in H2 and it was the first 25 minutes.

I really dont hate this film . Its totally different from what I expected but it was great fun I always stick to the theatrical cut ✂️ it's so much better I didnt mind seeing what Michael saw in his eyes aka his mother and the horse . To me it just explained why he was trying to attack Laurie in the first place . In Michael's head he was bringing his family together by killing Laurie.

I personally am not a Robert Zombie fan but i consider Lord of Salem HIS masterpiece. It's the only film he's done where he chose style and mood over gore and filth. His '07 Halloween was decent but could have benefited from being edited up to be a bit tighter. But his H2 was god awful. Ugghh just a treasure trove of horrible ideas and seemingly careless decisions. As rushed as he may have been or not, does not excuse him from severe ridicule. For that, he should and could have kept it simple. The hospital opening sequence was good. So make it like the original sequel and have it culminate at the hospital and just unleash Michael on that night shift staff before chasing around Laurie. He really took a lot of chances. None of which paid off. Sealing his fate with loyal Halloween fans, as if they needed any more reasons to despise him. From eating dogs, to looking like a homeless viking that grunts and groans, to the complete lack of heart in the film. This felt like the Halloween he'd do to end the series, had he been allowed to do like 7 in a row. But the starting and unusual changes he made to popular characters from his first film, was too jarring to ignore and made it completely unrecognizable from his initial entry.

When the days grew short & the spirits of the dead returned to their homes to warm themselves by the fireside. All across the land huge fucksticks were lit, ohhh there was a marvellous celebration. Ppl danced & played games and they dressed up in costumes, hoping to ward off the evil fucksticks especially....... the WWAMyman

There are maybe a few things I like about this movie. Like maybe 2 or 3. But I hate this movie. I grew up with hillbilly trash and even they weren't this disgusting. Its like Rob took all my town folk, dipped them in radioactive goo and intensified the mannerisms by 1000%.

I think this is Rob's best. Bring on the hate!! All I wanted was a modern Micheal and we got him. This is the LAST version I would want to deal with. Best theatre experience, seeing people leave, fuck yeah. But it also is so illusive at the same time. Is Micheal there or not at all? Smart shit. I think the brutality and the roughness was too much, the ending, Micheal talking or Loomis, it's all things that would be life but that's what people don't want to see in theatres.
