An interesting and slightly spooky picture. Congratulations on 5k subscribers. I noticed that moutin mix with blue looks like indigo. I look forward to the next project and I hope you are much better. Enjoy your week and as always, happy painting.

Thank you very much Angel. Yes, a milestone reached at last. Bob's mountain mix is quite Indigo but varies from tube to tube so I usually add a colour to swing the hue. Sometimes Prussian. Sometimes Alizarin Crimson. New project on the easel tomorrow!😎

Hey Stephanie - Yes, this was very much a last minuet painting. I'd given up on trying to get anything done last week but I'm so pleased I did. Hence my comment about always doing something. Any time spent on the easel is never time wasted especially when your having fun. I have another painting in mind next with a similar trick.... but which one! 🥰😎

Hi SLG - thanks for those encouraging words ( I'll let you narrate my comment as I type! ) Now, Bob Ross the fuzzy-haired artist of the the TV show 'The Joy of Painting' developed paints for beginners. Some of which were Liquid White and Liquid Clear. I use them both in almost all my videos. They are widely available in the US so you should be able to get them. The basic principle is that it's easier to blend oil paints on a slightly oily canvas hence the use of these liquids. Plus you can wipe off mistakes and repaint them. It gives the beginner a chance to paint and learn as you go. If you are in Florida and anywhere near Smyrna Beach go to the Bob Ross shop and see his work and talk to the staff they'll help you more than I can from the UK - Happy Listening - and maybe I'll read you a fairy tale in future - Paul 😃🥰😎

Hi Hollie - thanks for watching and sorry the sound levels are too low for you. I'm quite softly spoken so I've played with the audio a lot to get the best mixture of volume without distortion. Its a compremise though. If I crank it up my voice goes weird. Too low and its just a mumble. Oh well I'll keep on playing with the settings and see if I can get it louder. I know a few folk use ear buds or headphones and they say its so much better than the speakers in the PC or screen. Mybe give this a try. Look forward to painting for you again soon. 😍😎
