wow top shelf quality. i have seen straight to dvd films with less skills. the guy playing loomis was spot on . did u all do a sequel? i will watch this again !
ranks near the top for fan fiction for Halloween and i like that it was not just a 15 minute one. AND the shape was dope! very accurate. Also liked the music placements and sound effects
I have to say this as a fellow filmmaker and at risk of offense, so I apologize ahead of time. At times the acting could have been just a tad stronger by the supporting roles and others not so over the top (mainly the law enforcement when dealing with Loomis at the beginning as Loomis was leaving for Haddonfield and the Chief once he got there) Again, please don't take offense because this is a film love letter, not a negative criticism. That out of the way and being said, the twist on the original story was unique and nice as a stand alone. The essence of "The Shape" by Kyle Thrasher was spot on and the movement and spirit of Michael Myers by Jeremy Burgess was Tony Moran to a tittle (to a T)! Overall, this Indie was great and was one of the only online fan films worth a watch so far. The first one in fact that made me want to tell the characters where "he" was or to go the other way. 4 out of 5 stars for spirit, fear factor, and capturing the spirit and feel of the greatest horror movie ever made. Thank you John Carpenter & Debra Hill and thank you Southlan Films for this well done homage. Nice throw in of the E.K. clown bum and Shamrock masks for the "behind the scenes fans". Respectfully, Timothy @ Spectre Productions, LLC a SPECTRE MEDIA Company. Post Script- I have a quick question... Where did you get the in-movie "Halloween" music that you used during your film (as Michael would appear outside a window, the "Dun-na-nah!". Or as he would walk after the heroine and kids, "dun-nunt, dun-nunt...dun-nunt, dun-nunt"? It was the same as the 1978 horror classic and as we all know music gives you your emotional response in a horror movie even more so than the action on screen. Is there a way to obtain the music effects from the film without hearing the original film actors/action in the background?
I like the Emmett Kelly mask at the Smith's Grove Novelty Store, a nod to what could have been Michael's mask in Halloween, giving way to the Kirk mask, love it, as well as the Silver Shamrock masks.
That was pretty good, at first I was a little concerned that you'd stuck so closely to the originals template (felt like a it of a remake at times) but it worked especially as you twisted some of the things. Shame you didn't get to make a 90 minute film. Enjoyed it though, great work guy who played Michael was awesome
This is the best fan film iv'e ever seen! Who ever played Michael got his character spot on.I was on the edge of my seat during the whole movie.Does it have a sequel? and if it does how do i find it? I have also subscribed to you.
Don't disable the comments don't worry about what people think I am here to tell u great job fuck all the people running there mouth what have they done. think about it ok
If you make a sequel, it should have mabye a relative of Michael's who's been in hiding. At Camp Crystal Lake. It would be awesome if you made a crossover fan film. Also loved this film. EPIC.
Ah, the North Carolina Myers house? I like the signed Dick Warlock(HII) picture by the TV too. Also nice little scare at 29:19, haha and 38:57, very nice!!
bloody hell that is perhaps the best sequal fan made movie wise and no offence..but id say that is way better then what the original halloween 3 movie was,at least this halloween 3 had michael in it.. and it did not have laurie either in all accounts this was a pure follow on from halloween 2,and i fully enjoyed this movie as well..
Wow! That was a great fan made sequel! Great job, dude! I loved how it ignores the official sequels, but it also has a link to Halloween 3: Season of the Witch. Now H3 has a purpose. Are you ever gonna make a sequel to this? Because I would love to know what happens after that cliff-hanger!
that was really good! one of the best halloween fan films yet and THANK YOU for using a decent mask! actually looked like the original. its def a dick warlock mask. also that part with michael using the pipe wrench was classic! filmed perfect to. good job, and hey hey becky lookin alittle like taylor swift there sexayy. nice job guys
