Thank you for watching! This video as a pure improv...nothing pre scripted...just grabbed the rack and went for it. Not to be serious , but the key to good improv is let your brain connect to your mouth and do not force the thoughts...let them flow.
“I see a human in there, he’s looking back at me… we’ll just cover him back up…” Imagine how many horror movies could’ve been avoided with this thought process😂
@@merucrypoison296its real actually, I once saw a vid of someone who works at a cranberry farm explaining why there are many spiders at a cranberry farm
Actually, the most terrifying thing about cranberry harvests is that wolf spiders live in the bushes before flooding, and are very bouent, which means you’ll be collecting delicious cranberries one minute and the next, 5 wolf spiders will be crawling up you to get away from the water and danger of drowning. As long as you’re calm, they won’t bite, but people with arachnophobia can’t do this job bc of it.
@@RedWolfPlaysGame I mean, you’ll get attire that’s made to make sure they cant actually touch you, but if it’s just the sight of them that freaks you out it’s probably not the best fit… most farming/harvesting stuff will involve spiders unfortunately, it’s just the way of nature, especially if it’s organic stuff bc they won’t use pesticides that’d keep them away
The wolf spiders are actually encouraged by cranberry farmers because they serve as a natural pesticide. "Do not squish them, they are your coworkers" is what most cranberry farmers say to a new trainee.
For those that don't know, under all of those berries there are spiders the size of your hand. They help somehow the fruit not to rot or something I'm not sure, but everything has a purpose.
The spiders help with bugs, then they drown the fields, and the spiders try to find a place to climb so they don't drown, so the spiders climb up either you or your equipment
If you ever try to get a job at a cranberry field the first thing they ask “How are you with spiders?” Because they have hundreds of them for pest control. When they flood the field they will climb up you, and you aren’t supposed to hurt them. They want them to go back in the field when the waters gone. And I’m not kidding, it’s the first question they always ask.
@@derrick9245 ... have you seen them? They can get as big as your hand xD I lived around them my whole life. Especially the females with all the babies on their back EWWW
As a wisconsinite i wanted to do cranberry farming at one point in my life, then i found out about the spiders. For anyone wondering, Wisconsin is the leading producer of cranberries in the US and possibly the world.
Hey can I tell you a story? I met this brown recluse at my grandma's out in her shed and named him sara maglocklin and took him inside and let him crawl up my butt and he's been up there for 2 weeks now I'm started to get worried
I remember going to visit my grandpas cranberry bog when I was little. I have a fear of spiders and he neglected to inform of the “bog spiders they have in there fields to take care of insects and unwanted visitors. But this was the time they flooded the fields and I dredged around in the water for a bit with him and about 12 spiders started crawling up my legs and onto my body. I was not happy and my grandpa was laughing his butt off
Fun fact: Cranberry harvesters put wolf spiders in fields to shoo pests away, but since cranberries are hollow, they flood the fields to harvest them. AND EVERYONE KNOWS spiders HATE water. so sometimes the spiders need something to float on. (edit:) please stop causing a fight- i didn’t mean to cause one) edit: PLEASE STOP FIGHTING! YESTERDAY IT WAS 25 REPLIES TODAY ITS 31-
Wolf spiders are top tier critters. I have a few that run around in my basement apartment. They stay on the floor (generally..) and keep the annoying bastard crickets at bay.
@@donarthiazi2443wolf spiders love the climate of the cranberry fields so there can be dozens and dozens in a field before it floods. When it floods they all look towards something high to climb up on for safety. There can be several spiders on you at once, and they are known to even work their way inside of your suit.
explanation: cranberry have spiders floating on the top. if you wade in, they'll climb up your legs because you're a higher surface than the berries. you'll have tons of, albeit harmless, huge spiders using you as a lifeboat. 😂
Fun fact, cranberry farms use wolf spiders to remove pests, and when it is time to flood the fields, the spiders will cling to anything they find, especially people
The thing is scary about harvesting cranberries is the fact that there's always gonna be spiders on you and you have to stay calm and the thing that makes it worse. Is their wolf spiders
I’m really glad y’all told me not to ever go to a cranberry field cause I have really bad arachnophobia and I’d pass out if I don’t just die on the spot 😭
He's probably an egotistical judgemental narcissistic dirtbag small-minded simpleton who has absolutely never made a morally responsible decision in his life ,but to say a "Good Father "because he lucked out and may have some stability in his life ,is a. stretch ,if u were drowning next to his boat he wouldn't spit on another human to save their life , or maybe he's not from Wisconsin, still stands,
Ephesians 6:10-18 says, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless.😊😊
Fun fact about working in a cranberry field. You have to be used to spiders running into your overalls cause when you flood the field you flood their home
I find bog spiders very fascinating. I love how they help you keep bugs under control. Its like a little friend to help you with work... Doing it unpaid lol.
Everyone keeps talking about this but I've never seen it. No pictures or evidence exist on google of anyone being covered by spiders. Until then, I remain skeptical.
why is it that every time yall see a cranberry bog u HAVE to bring up wolf spiders? he’s joking about seeing his reflection and yall are pissing over some spiders 😂
for anybody wondering, under the cranberries there are wolf spiders the size of your hand. They help keep insects off the berries while they grow! If you dont wanna have giant spiders crawling up your legs at all times, dont become a cranberry farmer
I have a respect for all jobs, a lot of interesting things sometimes come with those jobs like these. As a medical student, if I found out that in middle of schooling that I’d have to watch out for a spider of some kind, then my part time job is now a full time. *And knowing my luck there’ll just be more spiders.*
there are giant spiders in the water to help protect the berries from bugs. one of the qualifications of having that job is not having an overwhelming fear of spiders
This is hilarious!😂 And I saw you replied to another comment about this being inprov. I'm currently taking a drama class, and improv is my favorite thing to perform! Great improv! 10/10
Thanks for watching! Never knew about Wolf Spiders until I saw them mentioned in the comments. I the moment, all I thought about was the nonsense you see here.
@@CarySagady from what i have researched wolf spiders do live in cranberry bogs as a Natural pesticide, now of course there could be multiple answers to this, maybe some Bogs keep em around while others use different sorts of measurements against pests, or perhaps all the Websites that approve of the fact that wolf spiders live in cranberry bogs actually lied. From my current viewpoint i would guess that some farmers use the wolf spiders while others don't.
