Halloween Tombstones with Foam on Shapeoko 3 

I thought it was worth a try. Foam insulation was cheap. Why not try it. They turned out nice. Easy and fast to cut.

@@TNTCreationsTR I'm planning on trying a lot more with this idea. GREAT way to practice 3D carving. I've recently started doing topographical carvings and this would be a awesome way to create mountains!!

TNT Creations TR What thickness is the foam you used, looks like maybe 1”

James Sitton yes, it’s 1”. I had some 1/2 also, but that was for some backsplash I’m gonna try with epoxy. All the tombstones were 1” foam and 3/8” plywood behind it.

They did good. They are going back out again this year.

I’ll have to try that on the next ones.

I add a couple ounces of Flood Floetrol to the paint with an ounce of tap water. Mixed and put in the sprayer. I take out the inner strainer for latex.

Not sure. I’ve never used Easel. I would check feeds and speeds and your machine setup.
