Im so glad you suggested McKenna Grace, have been going on about her since Ghostbusters Afterlife, although she is my fan cast for a Buffy The Vampire Slayer reboot as Buffy
Been a Donld Pleasence fan for donkeys year! My mam was a huge The Great Escape fan (as am I now). If you want a bit of a giggle check out 'The Monster Club (1981)' - it's a classic. I came across R Chetwynd-Hayes as an author in my teens, so was naturally drawn to this anthology of tales 👻
the danielle harris return stuff it borderline obsessive at this point. she’s in 4 movies in the franchise already, & frankly she’s just not a good actress. the halloween franchise will stay mediocre if fans continue to want to accept mediocrity. let her go and give the franchise a chance for it to evolve & become something more. all the nostalgia you all fan over simply resides in the movies you can go watch at anytime.
No more Daniel Harris bro, sounds more of an OBSESSION at this point dude. I get it, you're a fan which is fine, but no more DANIEL HARRIS unless HOLLYWOOD starts a sequel after HALLOWEEN 4 and IGNORE part 5 or something at some sort, but for HALLOWEEN to more forward we NEED to MOVE FORWARD from HALLOWEEN actors that had their chances and start FRESH with fresh faces
Definitely very realistic picks Barry . All with real strong acting ability . Mckenna Grace for Judith myers would be fantastic she'll definitely be a superstar in the next 5 years .
Considering the material, Donald Pleasence’s performance as Loomis was inspired & would be hard to recreate. He imbued Loomis with intelligence, but also a visceral anger that verged on violence. I’d like to see Jason Isaacs take on the role if it’s set chronologically close to the original. He’s not exactly Pleasence’s body double, but he’d be able to recreate the intelligence & visceral anger perfectly.
Jared Harris as Loomis with him as the lead character plus new actor play Brackett they are the main two from the original film back. No Laurie, just a post 78 plot that uncovered the past and other links to Michael.
in full agreement on Richard Schiff as loomis he has always been my #1 choice ..or Sir Ben Kingsley. As for michaels parents I kinda like Toni Collette and for a bit of a wild card Steve Carrell as michaels father...for a comedic actor he's got a bit of a creepy factor if you ever saw foxcatcher .
I also think Sara Paulson or vera Farmanga who played Norman Bates mother in Bates Motel or Melanie Linsky from yellow Jackets could play a good Mrs Myers but your list is great to I love your videos
I'm just curious how much money Miramax is willing to invest in a TV series. Can you imagine the payroll if you got all these actors in the series? It won't matter who you get if you don't write a captivating story. Maybe for your next video you can suggest some screen writers who can craft a horror TV series... how about Rod Serling? :) Then we can talk about some directors where each week we have a different director take the helm... and even an episode or two by John Carpenter.
My fan casting is laurie Dr loomis and Michael myers Jenna ortega/ laurie strode Bruce Campbell or Anthony hoppkins/ Dr Sam loomis Adrien Brody/ Michael myers and I think the release date: 2025 october 28
This was definitely an interesting video... However, I have to STRONGLY disagree with your 2 main choices... When Rob Zombie was casting for the new Loomis in 2006/2007, I agree Richard Schiff would have been the perfect choice... However, now almost 20 years later he is 70 years old, and they are starting a whole new tv series/ movies franchise... We need somebody young enough who can grow into the role for many years to come... Look what Jaimie Lee Curtis was able to do... And Mckenna Grace is a bad choice for 2 reasons. For one, she is becoming a big star, and may pull a Jenny Ortega in the show "You" and become too big for the role, and not return to the show... And two, she is too cute and short in stature to play a scream queen... I know she played in, and was great in, that horror movie and sequel, but that was still based on that cuteness that turned evil...
My choice for a Loomis was an ageing Loomis with not long left as a doctor. If we're casting for a Loomis that would last many years, then of course it'd have to be someone much younger. As for Laurie/Judith, I don't think there's a height requirement or cuteness requirement, personally.
@@WolfmansGotNards 😂 yeah, I don't think there is a height requirement 🤣... But, it's the whole cuteness perception to me... She is a great actress... But, she doesn't have that scream queen perception that Jamie had... But, that's just my opinion... and maybe in another video you can choose who you would think would be the right actor to play Loomis, if we wanted somebody who would last many years...
@@WolfmansGotNards I don't mean cute as in pretty, I mean cute like an adorable puppy (or little girl)... She is not a terrible choice by any means... She is a great actress... But, I think there are better choices for this part...
