My Halloween yard haunt for 2015 in Parksville, BC, on Vancouver Island. We terrorized for TWO nights this year, so people who were at home handing out candy Halloween night, had a chance to go through the haunt on the 30th.
Thanks Pumpkinrot! I always want to say how awesome your haunt is but your comment section is always disabled. Love your organic feel and the custom props!
+highburycemetery Thanks man! I can't take credit for the low laying fog, I use the cheapest fog solution from spencers, it was solely the cooler weather.
Wow! Great attention to detail! I can appreciate all the time it must take you to get this looking just right. Good photos and footage too, video came out amazing!
+Mark Faucett Yes, it takes me forever to set up and constantly changing things on the fly. My wife thinks I'm nuts for being so picky! Congrats on your CHA award for best international yard haunt! I love your creations!
+Trish Redding It takes me so long to set up just the way I want it, I'm almost OCD with my decorating…that's what my wife says anyways! Thanks for watching Trish!
Thanks for the comments. My 2016 video is coming but it's not as involved as previous years because I moved into a new home (IN OCTOBER!!! I'm such an idiot....) and didn't have the time to commit to a haunt/walk thru.
Movie set quality! Incredible job making the cemetery look old and abandoned the detail is spot on and as always I really look forward to seeing what your creative mind conjures up!
+Forde Sanders Thanks! I'm pleased how it all turned out this year. The months of stockpiling branches, cornstalks, grasses, and pumpkins have paid off.
Looks wicked!! My youngest son Justin turns 12 this month and said your yard looks Awesome...You should come back home some Halloween and set up at the Fort Anne...Parksville is lucky to have such a talented Halloween enthusiast!!
+scott hewey Thanks Scott! I think Adam Wear is taking over Annapolis now for Halloween so I don't need to. Lol. Did u get to see his yard? It looked pretty amazing!
+Hickabod Crane Actually the two of you together at the Fort Anne lol..and maybe some up and coming addicts for help lol...I actually saw it on facebook but not in person wasnt able to get down that way for halloween...It looked awesome forsure!!!
+Hickabod Crane A little bit more, the last few years. I totally love it and have a garage full of Halloween stuff. LOL. We use those for a big Halloweenparty every year. But decorating the house and/or garden is not common here yet; unfortunatly. :-/ I hope it will be, soon! ;-)
Oh my god...your haunt is AMAZING and AWESOME!!!!!! It is movie quality, I feel like my haunt is crappie compared to what I just watched, lol. I would love to see it in person. One of my favorites. Great job!!
+Tina Strangway There are so many haunts I wish I could see in person too! But if you saw mine, then you would see how it's just barely stuck together! Lol. Thanks for the nice comments Tina!
Thanks Fernando. I'm still unsure what's going for this year since I'm moving at the end of this month. I simply won't have time to have a huge yard display like this one, so I'm thinking I might take this year off and enjoy the other haunts in the area. I'll do something, it just won't be to this caliber……this year anyways.
What an outstanding display! The detail is insane! Love the tombstones and zombies. I see some nice Midnite Studios masks if I'm not mistaken. So glad I stumbled across this. Off to check out your other videos.
Hey there fellow Haunter! I'm Christopher Weeks, the current president of the BC Chapter of the Canadian Haunters Association. We love your haunt and would like to know more about you. If you're doing a haunt this year we'd like to list your haunt in a regional directory. We're also trying to build connections with BC Haunters buy holding workshops, pub nights and visits to regional haunts. It would be great if you could get in touch with me at facebook.com/SpydersRealmCreative or on Facebook at Christopher Weeks. I love your haunt!!!
all of those gravestones and mausoleum are freakin' awesome, great job. And I love how the guy was actually coming up from the ground. So did you have that raised and somebody stepped up on a ladder? Great effect and so need to know how you did that if you don't mind. Kick Azz!
+SandricCemetery (SandCem) I built a 3 foot platform and then set up my mausoleum on that. I left the floor open so I could crawl out. It loomed over everybody at almost 14 ' high, it was awesome! Thanks for the comment Sandcem!
You're welcome. That was very cool, so hope you don't mind me trying to use the idea. If I do I will post and share, I'll give you a nod on it of course.
amazing I'm in awe right now. .holy shnikees! !! I've watched it like 10 times already. you can see some of my pics on Facebook joshandbethkirk ,, nothing compared to yours but it's pretty good I think.
