Lived in Obertraun (the small village opposite Hallstatt), it's a beautiful area. As mentioned on another video of yours, if anybody is planning a visit, take time to go to Gosausee.

Fantastic....we did a 10 day walking holiday for my 50th in Austria and stayed in Hallstatt, watching this brought back some great memories....Many thanks, also did you know that there are a lot of Chinese tourists in Hallstatt because a Chinese construction millionaire visited and created a copy of the whole village in China...😁🙏

Hi, we stayed 2 nights in Wohnmobilstellplatz oberbraun on the south side of the lake before moving to Parkplatz Stranded, we preferred the first one but for the lakeside but the second was better for getting the boat into Hallstatt. You're right, it isn't possible to prebook so the key thing is to arrive just as the previous days Motorhomes are leaving 10am ish (if you are visiting at a busy time of year) glad you enjoyed the video😀 cheers...Andy&Michelle
Hi, unfortunately I don’t think caravans do, we haven’t seen them on the parkups and the app shows just MH’s if you look on Search for Sites you’ll see the campsite in Hallstatt which does allow caravans, I think you’d need to book in advance though, hope that helps , cheers…Andy&Michelle
