You picked a nice day to see one of the most photographed cities in the world. The picturesque town is usually flooded with tourists not with water. Very nice memory of the time I had relatives in Hallstatt. Thanks for sharing. 😀💛💙🌍💙💛😀
Like 49 👍 Hello from your friends in Naples, Florida. That is truly a fairytale village! And we even enjoyed the rain! Beautiful views everywhere. Thanks for sharing with us, have a great week 💯
Hi Aishu, I'm glad you enjoyed this Hallstatt rainy day walking tour. In China they believe the village of Arendelle in the movie Frozen is modelled on Hallstatt. Thank you very much for watching. Have a great week 👍🙂Paul
Hi Paul. It's so relaxing rainy day walking tour. Sightseeing on a rainy day can be disappointing, but the relaxing sound of the rain and the misty lake make it very magical. And the fairy tale village is so fantastic. Quiet and cozy village. Thanks for nice sharing 🥰👍Juli

Hallstatt is peaceful in the rain. Charming town for sure and enjoyed the walk. The lake is an added benefit. Amazing how they have retained the small village vibe. Cheers🤠👍
Hi Mike, Hallstatt is peaceful in the rain but super busy otherwise. It's a beautiful little village. There has been a village there since about 500BC as there is a salt close by and is still in operation. Thanks for visiting. Have a great week 👍Paul
Hallstatt , truly is a beautiful fairy tale village. Your walking tour on a rainy day made it more amazing with the view of the landscapes. The fog covering the mountains looks stunning. My friend have really enjoyed this walking tour. I am glad to have found your Channel. A big Like 63 and a New Subscriber for more 👍👍
Beautiful place and amazing filming in the city walking in the rain. This town is beautiful with a lot of greenery and nice buildings.Fully enjoyed it to the end. Great job! Have a wonderful day😉👍🐶💓💓
What a beautiful atmosphere! Rain didn’t stop you from taking a great shots! I visited Hallstatt on May this year, absolutely breathtaking place! You captured atmosphere so nicely and authentically!
Hi Ervin, it rained a lot while I was there so thought may as well take a tour. This was at the end of August. I hope to go back one day as I didn't get to do everything I wanted. Fortunately I did have some days better than this weather wise tho. It's a beautiful little village even if it does get super busy. Thanks very much for the awesome support. Have a great week 👍🙂Paul
Amazing walk in a beautiful village Hallstatt. The sound of rain was amazing and the houses, village and all the route was so beautiful. Thanks a lot for sharing this experience.

Hi Paul, thanks for the relaxing (for us!) walk in the rain ☔It was lovely hearing the raindrops pitter-pattering and seeing the shiny wet streets. The village was so quaint and picturesque and the houses adorned with flowers on their balconies were so charming. The view across the lake was gorgeous. I loved how the low-lying clouds gave it a mystical misty appearance. Very enjoyable ❤
Hi Julie n Lucy, I'm glad you enjoyed this rainy day tour of Hallstatt. I had to get away from my wine and beer stash for a hour or so 😂 A lot of people from Asia visit there as they think the village Arendelle in the movie Frozen is modelled on Hallstatt. The apartment I was staying in had a lake view which was lovely. Thank you very much for coming along for the premiere. Have a great week 🙂👍Paul
Can hear the heavy rains sounds . Relaxing sound Paul . Really beautiful that place . Thanks for the tour showing us the lovely place . It's a romantic place tho it's raining
Hi Nanete, I'm glad you enjoyed the rainy day tour of Hallstatt. Hallstatt is usually very busy with tourists. Indeed in a future video I will show it being busy and in slightly better weather. Thank you very much for watching 🙂👍Paul
Hi Cara, I'm glad you enjoyed this tour through Hallstatt. It's a lovely place but does get super busy with tourists. Thank you very much for coming along for the premiere. Have a great week 👍🙂Paul
Wow, it's an ecstatic scene from the first scene.😍😍 Watching the famous Frozen's Arendelle Village, I'm all thrilled.👍👍 Although it rains instead of snow, the beautiful scenery is still beautiful. Thank you very much. Please say hello to Anna and Elsa, too. Have a nice weekend.💖💖
Well I had to make the most of the rain and the weather. This was back in late August. I'm glad you enjoyed this rainy day tour of Hallstatt in Austria. I will have more from this beautiful village in the near future. Thank you very much for watching. Have a great weekend 🙂👍
Thanks for showing us around Hermit another nice location to visit stay and explore. Beautiful scenery shame it was raining 🌧 all day 👍 Hope you have a good week Hermit
Hi Adzey, this is a beautiful little village but does get super busy and not very hermit friendly. Unfortunately the weather was bad most of the time I was there but did have some days better than this weather wise. I'm glad you enjoyed the Hallstatt tour. Thank you very much for coming along for the premiere. Have a great week 👍🙂Paul
Hi Paul! What a beautiful, cute town even in the rain. All of the buildings remind me of pictures in a children's story book. It is really lovely right on the lake. Thanks so much for the virtual walking tour! ~ Anita
Hi Anita, well lots of people visit Hallstatt from Asia because they think the village Arendelle in the movie Frozen is modelled on it. So I guess they also think similar. It's a lovely place but does get very, very busy. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour of Hallstatt. Thank you very much for coming along for the premiere. Have a great week 👍🙂Paul
Ultimate ASMR video the the audio of the 🌧 there, Paul. Even when it eased off, we got squelchy footsteps. Fantastic views of the low cloud across the lake, too.
Hi Andy, I was making the most of the bad weather. I'm glad you enjoyed the walk around Hallstatt. Thank you very much for watching. I hope you had a great Christmas 👍🙂Paul
premiers are always fun, paul. nice chatting with you as always. also nice is this great walk. love the rain noise so much. have a great rest of your week, paul! 🛴❤
Hi Anne, I'm glad you enjoyed this tour of Hallstatt in the rain. It's a lovely place but does get very, very busy. The chat is always fun and it was great to see you. Thank you very much for coming along for the premiere. Have a great week 🙂👍Paul
Still a stunning place even in the rain! The only reason we didn’t go was the lack of parking! Thanks for braving the rain and leaving your beer and wine stock and taking us around! Have a great week 👍❤️
Hi Nick n Jill, yeah it's a lovely place but does get super busy with tourists. It literally is mental. As far parking I'd drop the car at Steeg Gosau train station and get the train into Hallstatt which jis iust one stop. You then take the ferry across from the station to Hallstatt so you will also get to do a boat ride across the lake. I didn't get to do everything I wanted in Hallstatt because of the weather so would love to return one day to complete unfinished business. However if I was to do so I would stay in Bad Ischl. I had a bit of wine and beer that week. Well actually on the whole trip ha ha. Thank you very much for coming along for the premiere. Have a great week 🙂👍Paul
Love the rain day walk! What a wonderful village you walked through. My grandmother lived in Austria for a period of time to work but the climate didn’t agree with her. Such a gorgeous place Paul. I would live here in the village. Thanks for the relaxing walk. 👍😊🇨🇦
We enjoyed the full stroll and the sounds of the rain, Paul. Truly is a fairy tale village. Beautiful town, lake and the river running though is too! Thanks for bringing us along.
Hi Dave n Kathy, I'm so glad you enjoyed this rainy day tour of Hallstatt. It's a beautiful little village but does get super busy when the weather is a little better. I'll have more coming from the village in future videos. Thank you very much for taking time to watch the full village walk through, it's much appreciated as I'm homing in on the 4000 hours of watch time. Have a great week 👍🙂Paul
Thank you for a very wonderful water rain trip. Such a wonderful and cozy village. Nice video. The journey continues. Winter Greetings from Helsinki 🇫🇮 ❄
Hi Yasmin, it's a lovely place but not very hermit friendly at all in good weather. In fact it's madness 😂 Unfortunately I didn't get very much good weather whilst there but did have some days better than this. Thank you very much for coming along for the premiere. Have a great week 👍🙂Paul
I'm glad you enjoyed this rainy day walk thro Hallstatt. The weather did seem to put a lot of people off as it's usually very busy. Thanks for watching. Have a great week 👍🙂
Hi Simon, I was making the most of the rain in Hallstatt. I didn't get the best weather whilst there. Thank you very much for watching. Have a great week 🙂👍Paul
Instead of the gravel crunch now the pitter patter on the umbrella. You travel with sound Paul. Despite the rain, this was certainly a lovely place to wander around in. Gorgeous houses and that massive lake. Plenty of tourist busses. Good to see more people braved the wet for a healthy walk. I realise it would have been more pleasant to have sun so you could see the rugged mountains - maybe another visit? Thanks Paul, the video was most timely- it is raining here too. Made the experience most fitting and appropriate. 🌧👌☔🇳🇱🙋♀🇳🇿
Hi Anita, yeah no crunching noises on this one but more splashing puddles and pitter patter on the umbrella. Hallstatt is a lovely little village but does get super busy. I was there for a few days and mainly had bad weather. Fortunately I did have some weather slightly better than this. However I didn't get to do everything I wanted so may have to return one day to complete unfinished business. I'm glad you enjoyed this Hallstatt rainy day walking tour. Thank you very much for watching. Have a great week 👍🙂Paul
Hi Dann, I'm so glad you enjoyed this rainy day tour of Hallstatt. Thanks very much for coming along for my premiere, it's much appreciated. Have a great week, my friend 🙂👍Paul
Hello Paul, what a beautiful place and tour! Too bad about the rain but it made the colors pop even brighter, in my opinion. Such quaint streets and the houses were stunning. I love Austria and have great memories of going there growing up. The clouds looked phenomenal over the water and mountains. I hope you have a good week.
Hi Nicole, I'm glad you enjoyed this rainy day stroll thro Halllstatt. it's a beautiful little village but does get very, very busy when the weather is good. Thank you very much for watching. Have a great week 👍🙂Paul
It might not be fun filming in rain, but the result is incredible. Moody, misty, mysterious. I love it! -Very charming street at 3:30 with those wooden houses and the part walking by the lake with huge mountains on each side, so cool! The view at 20:47 and 21:24 just wow!!
Well I thought it would be something a bit different. Hallstatt gets very, very busy when the weather is good or even OK. I'll be showcasing a bit more from Hallstatt along with my commentary in a future videos. The scene around 21:24 is the one that you will see many a photograph on social media platforms. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour. Thank you very much for watching 🙂👍Paul
Not sure how I missed this last week but this is a properly therapeutic walk, I've got the heating on and I'm all cosy just listening to the rain come down in your video and watching your walkabout. The clouds comong off the lake and the view at 21:26 were sensational. The town is very pretty too
Hi Matt, I miss stuff all the time. It can be hard to keep up. On this one I was making the most of the bad weather. Hallstatt is usually banging with tourists. It's that bad the locals have complained about it. Even put up a big board in front of the main viewpoint which is the view you reference. Now I'm sure I can milk that fact for an up and coming video. Thanks for watching 🙂👍Paul
@@TheHikingHermit haha yeah, on my last trip to Tenerife there were signs everywhere saying 'tourists go home'. Greedy beggars trying to keep the place to themselves 😅
Making the most of the bad weather on this one. The village is usually rammed with tourists. I'll be posting more videos from here in the New Year but they'll be walk n talks. Thank you very much for watching and welcome 🙂👍Paul
Hi Paul, this brings back memories. It looks beautiful in the rain or sunshine. I feel like we took the same route around Europe. Just at different times. Brilliant views you captured. All the best Chelsea and Mike
Hi Chelsea and Mike, it would seem that we did. i think you may have been there a few weeks before me. This was from the end of August. It would have been cool had our paths crossed. Perhaps some day 🙂 With regards the video I made the best of a bad weather day. It's probably the only time Hallstatt isn't that busy. Thanks for watching. Hope you're both keeping well 🙂👍Paul
Hallstatt is gorgeous Paul even on a rainy day and looks well worthy of its UNESCO status. Really pretty with the mountains nearby and the lovely lake. The houses are so cute and the little streets so prett. Really enjoyed it here 👍~ Anna
Hi Anna, I'm glad you enjoyed this rainy day tour of Hallstatt. It's a beautiful little village. In a video coming in the future I will be making my way up to the UNESCO skywalk which is a viewing platform that juts out 350m above Hallstatt and the lake. Thank you very much for watching. Have a great week 👍🙂Paul
Hi LB, it's a real lovely place and gets a lot of visitors. You could say it suffers from over tourism but you can see why. I got fired soon after for painting the streets 😂Thank you very much for coming along for the premiere, it was great to see you. Have a great week 🙂👍Paul
Hi Well done Paul for getting out and exploring on a rainy day. Did you take your waterproofs? There's that saying isn't there " no such thing as bad weather ......." The town still looks fabulous with lots of traditional architecture, characterful streets and a beautiful view over the lake. Perhaps not a day for a boat trip though ? Filming has come out well on what's perhaps not the best light - well done
Hi Christine, I'm glad you enjoyed this rainy day tour of Hallstatt. That saying is a really bad cliche as you know bad weather does actually spoils what you want to do. However yes I did have full waterproofs on. I made the best of the bad weather. It seemed to keep a lot of people away or inside because Hallstatt is usually really, really busy. Thanks for taking time to watch 🙂👍Paul
