The vast jungle of Halmahera is still mostly wild and untamed by civilization. Only a few local people know their way through it and call it their home. These recordings were taken on the first international attempt to cross the northern peninsula on foot.
It is most probably the first time ever that drone video has been captured this deep in the jungle.
