Man just imagine all the clout you would have if you discovered this back in elementary school. You would have been the most powerful kid on the playground.

Everyone hyped for playable Elites, but here Halo 2 is, where you can play as literally every species and even vehicles.

16 years later and glitches like this are still being found by dedicated halo fans like us. This is part of the reason why I love Halo!

Playing as a flood form is hilariously accurate. It has semi-control over what you do, kind of like being actually infected.

The original person who discovered this now knows how to become anything in Halo 2 on any level. One example is becoming a warthog, except you aren’t driving it, you *_are_* the warthog.

So you can become a nice and passive flood combat form, but when you get too close to someone the flood takes over and makes you attack them? Oh boy, it's Jenkins all over again.

When i was a kid on the last missions of Halo 2 i once had a prophet spawn into the jail cells. Now being a kid i got scared because i did not want to break my beloved Halo 2 maybe you should try to recreate it somehow

You can use this glitch to play as Tartarus, the prophet of regret and even the prophet's hologram. It's pretty insane

As someone directly involved with the discovery of this, I want to mention that Mister Monopoly and Harc The Shark as well as myself in part deserve the credit and recognition for this. Nibre as well provided technical reasons why it works after Harc and Monopoly discovered it for the first time. 343 should make a multiplayer mode where you can play as any covenant units. Grunts get 3 lives, jackals have a shield or a sniper. Things like that. Then Humans have different type of marines, odst or spartan. Be cool if it was squad based to so theres a group of grunts with a jackal or 2 with 1 elite

Just a few things to clarify, this will work on any version of Halo 2 as long as some form of proper co-op is supported, either Xbox Live or splitscreen. So most likely just Halo 2 Vista will be left out. Great trick! The people who figured this out must be very smart and good looking and cool.

He gives Monopoli, Bizz, Harc, and Nibre credit at the end of the video. Harc is his co-op partner in this vid. It was only soon before a big channel like this picked this up and brought it to a much larger audience.

When he said that when you control the flood form that it has more control it instantly reminded me of the book about jenkins and how he had partial control but the flood would sometimes take control and attack hes allies check out the story in hidden xperias video called 3 scary stories of the flood and you well know what i mean. If you want to flip the pelican as a phantom you can try to ram it underneath the severed highway and push it from the tail/back until it flips. The pilot is an actual pilot model like the one in the cutscene, but his voice is a random marine each time. He isn't invulnerable and he kinda just stands there no matter what.

I've been trying to do this for 2 hours with no luck. I followed the video exactly and it just spawns your teammate in normally. Is this patched? I am on MCC btw if that matters.

I love how the Flood combat form doesn’t have any reverse running animation, their walking backwards animation is just the walking forward animation in reverse.

This is one of the best glitches in halo ever!!!! My brother and I managed to turn into a flood combat form and grunt. Honestly the grunt is really funny to play as while th flood combat form was really difficult due to the AI taking control every once in a while especially when around your non flood teammates. This glitch was also super easy to figure out. It's like a childhood dream come true.

I dont understand how it works still, i tried the phantom and it didnt work and i got the enforcer to work like twice but died both times from the wall
