Dude same. This game defines my childhood. So many hours, memories and friends made on this gem of a game. No game will Be emerse me into it like this game did to me.
I have 3 kids now...where the HELL did the time go where it was just me and my 3 friends playing together at one of their houses on a Saturday night while we waited for the mom to order pizza?!?! WHERE DID THE TIME GO, GUYS? Man, life is so short.
Honestly boys I remember this like it was yesterday 2007 can’t wait to finish school because all the lads are getting together to play this. Now I’m like wow 17 years ago … If I thought of 1990 back in 2007 I would think that’s a lifetime ! Now I’m sat here with my own kid at 30 thinking exactly the same thing !
I remember playing with my friend's little brother. I drove the big truck and he was shooting in the back. He went invincible, like nothing could stop us. That only happened once, but damn was it satisfying haha!
I wish online gaming still felt like THIS for me. I used to play this ALL the time, and Gears of war 1, and 2, on Xbox Live. That was back when I was 17, 18, and 19. Now, I just turned 30, and haven't played online gaming much at all. Used to play Battlefield 1 a little bit, and tried Red Dead 2, online. But now, I just stick with story mode. If they made a first person shooter similar to the Halo franchise, I'd play online again. But until then, I'll stick with single player. Sucks how times have changed so much since back then. Being an adult with bills, and tons of responsibilities, sucks. I can feel my age now, my family all do their own thing, and none of us get together, or even talk much. Or they just leave me out, who knows. My dad doesn't talk to me, or even ask to see my daughter, who is his ONLY grandchild. Life just fuckin sucks.
Yeah man I just posted my own post about where the hell did the time go? I just got a forgotten flashback about me and 3 friends playing this when this game came out. We were all at a friend's house named Tom who had his birthday party with us and his mom ordered pizza and we all had cake. The basement had tons of food, drinks, and a bit tv with halo 3. Now I got 3 kids and life is as depressing and gloom as ever with all this shit going on. I got no more friends and I just turned 28 last July. Shit truly does suck man, just know you aren't alone.
I remember been really good at this we use to play it hardcore split screen online back in the day such a good multiplayer game ... now days I'm hot trash if I try to play online games
Halo 3's population is still holding strong despite the game released six years ago. Screw halo reach's mulitplayer. 4 is good in some aspects but halo 3 is where the OWANGE is at!
Hyper Active summer going into 8th grade, me n a couple friends that lived in the same neighborhood would bike like 15 miles to our other friends every day just to go play halo 3 online. Such fun times. Time goes way to fast man.
Dang, in 2007 I was only 11. Used to shit myself playing online mostly because I sucked haha. My childhood right there, so nostalgic to look back over.
If you can get in to a match yes - Halo 3 just became free to Xbox Live Gold members for a limited time so I would assume the population may have jumped up a bit.
Awesome game. Started noticing you were getting a little to over confident when you got your invincible killing spree medal. You're lucky the game was close to ending cause usually when you get over confident you get taken out. Your teams score wasn't bad at the end of the match.
You may have won the Invincible but at what cost? Your team lost by a milestone all because you decided to play it stealthy and defensively letting your team Rush ahead and get slaughtered while you head in the Mist
