Going through Sierra 117 reminds me of 2007, how good we thought the graphics were at the time. The lighting in Halo 3 still holds up to this day, more so than some newer popular games.
Honestly I don't see past H3 graphics hardly; some games I see details where I'm like, "yeah that's technically beter;" but it's minimal even at best. I don't understand the graphics push. H3 was plenty.
go into the halo 3 multiplayer map standoff the skybox is insanely good looking even for todays standards was just getting an achievement in that map last night and was amazed by how good it looked
This is exactly how good every guy was in the stories about how well they played last night to their friends. Man I miss the days when this game was THE game. I played the campaign every night for fun until I got my hands on reach.
I remember creating all sorts of silly challenges for myself in this game, like seeing how many phantoms I could destroy with a scorpion on the Ark. Then seeing if I could do it with a Wraith. Very nostalgic times. I think gaming felt more promising back then than it does today. Like it was only ever gonna get better. I miss feeling like that.
The best moments of this speedrun are when he takes out entire brute packs in like 10 seconds. Reminds me of that halo 3 trailer where chief jumps into that back of brutes
Memories rush back to me when I see old Halo gameplay. I get pretty sad because the fun times that were had are just gone when we all grew up and apart but I’m still glad to see it regardless.
Masterfully played. Still rng in there but god damn, it's been a while since I've seen the halo 3 campaign. Might be the most nostalgic thing in my life. It was unmatched. GOTD
Congrats!!! I have a question not related to the run itself though. Why are your guns different from the default skin? Is that a mod or a customization option within the MCC? Never seen it before, looks interesting!
Man what you did to that first brute cheiftan with hammer in the hostage room, some good stuff. Never would of thought of using that in the campaign noice
ok, i think this is the best speedrun i've seen of this. Think i've watched a couple different one's in the past of H3.. don't think they were this good.
This guy is insanely good. He was def maxed out and ranked a 50 in multiplayer...I dont even know how hes doing some of this stuff like the grenade jumps and hammer jumps. I have so many questions
