awesome video matt, you should also talk about twitches upward, like the last snipe you hit... running or walking with the snipe at mid level so you don't have to move up or down to go for a headshot...etc.
Dude just you talking is helping alot it opens my mind to alot of things i wouldn't normally think of and I'm aiming to get myself up there in halo and i'm ready to take in all the tips you have to show keep it up. loving this content.

That last over was beautiful man! I think my biggest problem as a sniper is that I try to do flashy moves and I usually tend to push too far without my team able to back me up. I'll definitely try to use some of the techniques you showed here, and I just might get better haha. Thank you for the video :3 (though I know I'm super late with this comment haha)
Hi Formal, Thanks for the position tips & map/team awareness sniper tips, What I'd like to ask U for is a VID on aiming tips or tips on how U handle the gun as far as placing the reticule &/or when U zoom in, & also do U only go for headshots or is the theory of get a bodyshot for a higher percentage. I.D.K. if its the auto-aim or lack of, I get kinda frozen w/the snipe, there's a few players that know what I mean, as I've been practicing its been getting better, just like to hear ur thoughts
Octagon, is pretty good to get your shot better as you always spawn with snipe/BR and there's always someone in front of you, but in a matchmaking it is good practice as well where you are actually playing against 4 people (usually co-ordinating together) and the spawns aren't as simple. try playing both octagon and matchmaking to get better.
