I'm going to be honest, everytime I hear the sound of when a Halo CE Magnum is equipped, I get the biggest grin on my face. I had a lot of memories in Halo CE.

I know this is a joke but gravity would of pulled the bullets down, rockets would of ran out of fuel and plasma would have dispersed loooong before they reached it.
fun fact, the Oathsworn is Kelly's personal shotgun. And Kelly, like Chief, Fred and Linda, are Spartan 2s. All of them are trained on Reach when they were still little
Yeah, but they really pay attention to detail when it comes to reloads, because when you take a half-empty mag and put in a new one, there's already bullets in there, so no need to prime it. Your character only primes when the mg is empty and u put in a new one. Details.
@@CQBlitz0 I’ll rephrase that for ya. When there is 1 or more bullets in the mag, you change the mag and don’t pull back the charging handle as there is already a bullet in the chamber!
@@CQBlitz0 pretty sure just about any FPS/shooting games I've ever played are like this though lol...slightly faster tactical reload if there's a round left in the chamber & slightly longer reload when fully empty due to requiring you pull the charging lever/handle. It's just realism compared to how real life firearms operate.
Great vid. I really appreciate it that you sat down and showed us all of these weapons, in and out. You have my respect. I must have completely overlooked that there was a third Brute Plasma Rifle in the game lmao. And I had no idea that the idle animations for the Gravity Hammer and the Boltshot were so sick! But you did miss a couple of things. Firstly, the COG sights allow you highlight enemies when they come in your crosshair when using Smart-Link. It also displays their health and shields right next to the crosshair. And secondly, while the Appetite of Destruction has an extended magazine, it also has stabilization jets that greatly decrease the recoil. But aside from those, great vid
I loved the variety of weapons in Halo 5. They were so damn fun to use. Whether Warzone returns or not I hope we still have these weapons in like a separate playlist for Multiplayer or just have it spawned in forge.
One thing I love about Halo 5: Guardians is the wide variety or weapons and vehicles, including the different versions of the UNSC, Covenant, and Promethean in-game vehicles/weapons. A handful of my faves are the Twin Jewels of Maethrillian Binary Rifle, the Vorpal Talon, the CE Magnum, the Halo 2 BR, the Blaze of Glory Shotgun, the original SPNKR RL, the normal Spartan Laser, the River of Light Incineration Cannon, the Temple and Ultra Ghosts and Wraiths, the Anti-Air Wraith, and the ‘Scale of Soirapt’ Brute Plasma Rifle. I wish you could get the base weapons and then actually customize them with the extra sights/bayonets/etc, if only so you can slap on every single attachment on at once and create an abomination.

Michael Oquendo They're all generic "pew pew" sounds you'd hear in Michael Bay movies. I can't tell weapons apart from sound anymore, they all sound the same
I swear, the variant weapons were inspired by the damn Pack a Punch machine. SAW: THE ANSWER Shotgun: Blaze of Glory RL: AD Victoriam Along with the pun-ny names, the random as hell abilities make me sing the tune every time I swap the base gun for its variants. xD
Besides all the varieties of loadout weapons and basic vehicles, i noticed how there was a pattern. There are the standard varients, then types that are faster moving, quicker reload and extended magazines, and then the heavy, explosive varients.
DickingBimbos how? It plays the exact same as halo. You don't see people trying to one man an entire team or smart scoping for every kill. It's still very much halo.
Excalibur 4249 it feels so much more like cod with the weird movement like sprint speed and jet packs and thrusters and flying in mid air while aiming it feels so off doesn’t feel like halo and the art style doesn’t look like halo either the weapons like the BR which was a beautifully designed weapon and very militaristic like halo they changed it to a very odd looking and feeling sci-fi alien weapon that doesn’t relate to anything and same could be said for the spartan armor design, but it’s still a really really decent multiplayer
if you look in the bottom right corner, you'll see it took him alot longer to record this, is was probably well over 3 hours before the editing process, perhaps even more
Halo 5 definitely deserves its credit where it's due. like almost any other halo game, it at least brought something good to the table and took the series to new heights. The weapons and its variants are a perfect example of that. Halo 5s whole sandbox is a damn improvement over any other Halo game. I also love it's multiplayer I used to play the fuck out of it lol
Master Chief can use any weapon or vehicle he touches, save the galaxy every other day, and be a general badass, went through all of the UNSC's training yet has absolutely no trigger discipline.
How does a super soldier still have recoil? The regular humans armed with these guns I could understand but how tf does a spartan still have recoil? They should be able to control it better.
Black Panther but you're the spartan. The game is not the spartan, you are. Thats what I'm trying to say! It would be unrealistic for their to be no recoil if you're not even paying attention to it.
Ethan McKernan I know what you're saying but still... I'm just pointing this out because Spartans being super soldiers should be able to control standard military weapons with no problem.

Chief finally finding his humanity, putting his foot down, truly fighting his own fight and locke Going through the halls of lies of oni Like arbiter went through the covenant since he was supposed to be his mentor which would have been another epic Duo to see. But nope, instead we get Cortana, or at least a clone of her going mad, and it's just as bad as any fan fiction is, and it ruins the potential, the entire game, even to this day, the wounds are still fresh. What’s interesting is that a lot of these weapons are just older models In Universe terms. So someone out there is walking around with the gunfighter Magnum.

Nathan Frisk more dmg? That thing is 3 shot kill.... Its the enemies that they made all bullet spongy, instead of 1 pistol shot now you need 3 scorpions for a hunter
7:12 and that's why I like this assault rifle more than reach one. You can put scope or ironsight on it without any problems (unlike reach's assault rifle)

I don't get it, how can Whispered Truth have smart link while the Gunfighter Magnum doesn't? It's literally the same thing, but with a silencer and burst fire!
because the whispered truth was conceived long before the gunfighter magnum was thought of. The gunfighter magnum is just a faster rof magnum with no startlink for balancing
I don't really understand how removing smart link adds for balance. It's not like one with a Gunfighter Magnum could one up someone with a Whispered Truth just because it has no smart link.
Echolyktuz the gunfighter magnum is not meant to be a primary weapon unlike the regular magnum. It's only purpose is cleanup, it has a very fast draw and can unload very quickly. Having a magnum like that would easily be more powerful than a DMR, so it also has reduced damage and more recoil. 6 shots to kill, no smartlink, and added recoil. This solidifies it's status as a cleanup weapon
