Am I the only one who thinks the Warden is pretty cool? I think his design is very cool and alien, chilling voice, and it’s weird but his foot steps sound cool
yeah the sound design and visual polish is SS tier in this game, just like how doom eternal's soundtrack is it's best strength. imo the lack of showing 343 appreciation for that is what gave us craig, lol. halo infinite has a lot to learn from H5 in these two areas imo; hopeful skepticism ig?
His main problem is his role isn't well defined especially in his dynamic with cortana where his protectiveness feels more like a dog fighting to get off its leash
Most people don't hate the Warden character itself, they just hate fighting him. His health is more than a hunter, his weapons are more long-range and precise than a hunter, Kill you in one hit from a melee attack just like a hunter, and not only that but his melee range is even bigger. Plus watchers can heal the warden to full health in a matter of seconds even if the Warden has 1 hit point left which is something that happens often in Warzone and firefight.
@@crisperstorm Honestly. I don't think the Warden liked being Cortana's servant. In fact in this scene especially it seems like he's trying to turn Chief against Cortana in an attempt to rid himself of her. Especially with this line: "Do you find it odd, your trusted companion should keep so much to herself?"

Ok, Halo 5 sucked, but i like how this cutscene was handled. The warden talks to chief with a small air of respect. He's mocking him, of course, but he also understands how much of a threat he is.
