This is why people play piano. This is why people sing. The essence of this and the way he plays sends shivers down your spine and makes you want to play along. I have been playing piano for 6 years now and this cover has inspired me. I have pushed myself and learnt new pieces and this is the reason why. The way he plays overrides any reason to dislike anything and sounds so pure that you can’t find even one fault. That is why people play piano. For the emotion it gives.

Since everyone is sharing their stories I’ll share my story. I was 7 when I started playing the piano now I’m 14. People used to call me gay because I played the piano and I used to be made fun of I wanted to stop but I got a new teacher and he is such an amazing teacher that he started teaching me to play jazz pieces, one evening there was a Musik abend (music evening, like a consert) at my school and my teacher signed me up to play a piece. I was 11 at that time and all the people that used to make fun of me stopped because they saw the talent I had. I can play someone you loved by Lewis capaldi but I really want to learn this amazing cover. This video inspired me to start learning it, I can surprise my teacher 🙈
