Chris Hira the old version is much better. The physics don't feel heavy and the guns don't make deep ass sounds. I wish they kept the original sound effects for this game

You can still play online on PC after applying the latest patch,and yes you need a CD key but you can find that easily on Google

I know right? Halo used to be so much more slow paced. Almost like a relaxing shooter but still competitive. Not run and gun flashy edge of your seat bullshit. I still like halo MP, but I miss this.

Idk what you guys are talking about, but when I played this game back then during LAN's every one would be extremely competitive, but we would always have fun still.

I know right That silence was quite eerie when playing a 1v1 on a big dark map. Especially when you heard footsteps behind you 😳

@@generalofg3377 Yes, it's extremely competitive, but the gameplay rythm is very slow compared to the current shooters. That's sort of relaxing, even if you need to be accurate and fast thinker yet.

ShyGuyWithTheLazyEye I can confirm, being a halo fan since day one and loved the 2vs2 on my original xbox with my cousins and my sister on blood gulch, and the great online PC experience with other people, blood gulch was like the most played map back then and it was so much fun. Also remembering the Custom Edition where you could mess around and fly pelicans or play a covenant elite on player made maps.

Gravey One map:EXTINCTION JUST FUCKING EXTINCTION best custom map ever it had a sever that lasted like 30mins and i stayed for hours on the what seemed like endless ctf games.I also remember a map where you played as a grunt lol, then i also had the third person mod which i got addicted to and only played tps mode ah the memories until my pc exploded...

We did the exact same. Someone worked out how you could log in as ‘temp admin’ (allowing you installation privileges) and hid Halo CE on the network drive so the whole corridor would play LAN games together. Takes me right back.

David Martin they are updating MCC very soon, you have delete games you don’t want, so basically you can play only halo 1 MP all the time:) searching for a game will be quicker too

+Beau Bullock there are playlists for every game now. Halo c, halo 2, 3, and 4 all have a playlist for team slayer at least.

Mystical Gaming Yeah, but Halo CE is 2v2, I really wanted it to be sorted like the campaigns, but they aren't, so I can only hope that people pick CE when it comes up instead of just enjoying the game I want to enjoy. It's like when I'm at my friends house, he wants to play Minecraft, while I want to play Halo. I have to sit and either watch him play, or play something I don't want to.

+Beau Bullock Understandable. I think due to the amount of playlists possible and CE playing best 2v2 it does not have a dedicated 4v4 playlist. Personally I will play any of the Halos so anything that gets voted its a win for me. Halo 3 will always be my favorite but doesn't mean I cant play the other Halos. I was a Halo fan when CE was the only Halo back in the day.

yeah I think he knew I was coming. We were all in party chat. Unfortunately I was unable to record the party chat because xbox one works differently and it will not record voice through the game like xbox 360 did. They have been hilarious matches though, everyone has been having a good time and it's been super funny.
