Sounds like something you'd hear in a pixel game where you're clicking to advance dialogue and you hear little beeps as the text crawls. Neat.

Sounds strange without the driving rhythm of the bass guitar to give it momentum. A lot slower, perhaps more somber. I like it. :)

I think it’s just your brain hearing it because you’ve heard it so many times with the bass it’s hard to hear the song without it so your brain just fills it in
