You can purchase this game on steam. Its called Homeworld: Remastered, with the Homefront mod installed (you can find it on the steam workshop)

I dont think its cannon for those ships to have such big ships to ship cannons I think in lore they mainly just had point defense

The MAC cannons were the UNSC'S main defense against the Covenant, so this is perfectly canon

They’re called MACs. Virtually all UNSC ships have them as a primary weapon. It wouldn’t make sense for them to only have point defense weapons.
