*IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER WHEN SETTING UP THE HALO COLLAR 3:* 👉Draw the boundary around the property or manually create it by walking around it. 👉Set up the feedback levels on your app. 👉Install the static tips into the collar, as shown in the video. 👉Remember that the Halo Colar 3 has multiple connectivity modes: it mainly connects to the most accurate GPS when outdoors and is also capable of Bluetooth, cellular, and wifi connectivity whenever there are spotty GPS signals.
Halo is a garbage company. The collar doesn't work, customer service is horrible, the app is trash, so is the website. Basically nothing works for $600 and you get to go through the super awesome mail return process.
I've had Halo for 2 years. It's great when it works, but my dog has received dozens (if not over a hundred) incorrect feedbacks, including emergency warnings when inside the fence. I've addressed the problem with Halo staff, and even had their engineers look at the collar's performance. I've been monitoring the GPS levels, and even with appropriate signal, the incorrect feedback persists, and nobody (and I mean nobody!) at the company seems incapable of fixing the problem. Consequently, I can't use it where he doesn't know the limits (like taking the fence to parks or friends' homes. I'm deeply disappointed with this glitch!
